The easiest way to read the Times Union

It took me a while to decide to switch to the digital version of the newspaper. I am so glad I did. It is easy to read and maneuver through. It has extra sections that give the latest news and you get USA TODAY free everyday! And you can stay up on all the news even when you are out of town. Everyone should subscribe to the Times Union. There is no where else for daily, local news.

I like having the notification flag on my opening screen. It reminds me to catch up on the latest local news and things of interest. I have been remiss in the past, and I’ve been a subscriber for years! Also, I like the format. It is much more user friendly than in the past.

Times Union digital

Better than the paper

Worst digital ever

This digital paper always ask me to sign in and activate my account and it gets annoying ! Not user friendly at all!,

Steve

Love the app and the e paper, very easy to move about from section to section and article to article. Very easy to enlarge print for easy reading.

Works well

For the past 6 months + the current version works pretty well and allows one to navigate and easily read the paper in a manner that feels like reading a real paper. Now if they can just improve the content…

Florida Times - great way to stay up updated.

Florida Times is a great way to stay updated on all the happenings locally and world wide. As a bonus the puzzles are always fun.

Nice way t o keep informed

Has all the information to stay on top of things locally and around the world.

Pretty good, except for having to sign out and back in too often..

Every few days you can’t load that day’s issue and it doesn’t tell you why. But you have to actually sign out and back in. Not my favorite part of this app.

Daily paper

I have been reading the TU since I was a child. The coverage is good - sometimes a day later. The comics are so small I have to change the size. Overall I am happy with the paper.

What readers want

The E edition is quite satisfactory if left leaning
Good sports if a day behind
Need much better comics , get rid of Argyle,Brevity,Pearls before Swine and Marmaduke
More about Beach cities

Terrible new “upgrade?”

It is getting better to navigate overall. But I do not like the page with the advice columns and horoscopes. That was just about the only thing left that looked like the Times Union before it became USA Today.
Plus we have columnists from Orlando, Lakeland, Tampa, all over Florida. I think you’ve lost sight of the fact that this paper is actually Jacksonville and we like the opinions of columnists that live here and are our neighbors.
It’s just USA Today - that’s all basically 🙁

Fl Times Union on line

Though we have enjoyed getting our newspaper as a paper for years….moving on line is also convenient. If we are out of town we can still read our local, state and national news daily.

Great Way to Read the Florida Times Union

Never miss a delivery of the paper. Get the paper at the time you want to read it. Don’t be confronted with a soggy paper. And, get extra content. I should have switched to all digital years ago.

TU! Keep informing us!

TU,
You guys are the link to what is going on in Jax. I appreciate your in depth reporting. Otherwise more shenanigans would continue!

Jacksonville Union Newspaper

Recently subscribed to e-newspaper after moving to Nocatee in January. I am amazed by the quality of every aspect of the paper that is important to me. Have been a lifetime subscriber to a big city daily newspaper and there’s no comparison to to the JaxUnion.

Very easy to Navigate and read

I really like the layout and user interface. Highly recommend

Like most people

Like most long term subscribers, 51 years I and my wife were reluctant to go digital. Boy am I glad we did. The app does a fine job, occasionally a log on issue but not the app fault. The feature that has changed reading habits and enhanced my enjoyment is ease with Which I can send anything I read and comment on the article. The app access your email address book so you do not have to look up the address, just start typing the name as it appears in your directory and push the button.
My only issue is the content of the paper, it is biased to the left, woke culture and concentrates on negative aspects of every story that features a conservative view. It is wonder in this market they are having trouble meeting financial goals.

Florida Times-Union

Many informative articles. I’m grateful to still have local news reporting of this caliber.

Easy to use local newspaper App

The app makes reading stories from the paper super easy! It is easy to navigate between sections and highlights stories you’ve read.
The Times Union does a great job covering our city. I admire the way the reporters dig to get the truth about what goes on behind closed doors.
Keep it up!
