What's New in Flory
4.2
September 12, 2026
4.2 rebuilds two things: your first few minutes, and the reasons behind every prediction. ■ Ten screens became two No name, no age, no height, no keyboard. Pick the first day of your last period and your ring starts turning. If you can't remember right now, tap "I'll do this later" — the centre of your ring on the home screen opens the same panel whenever you're ready. ■ Why this date? There's a small link under your prediction now. Tap it and you'll see where the date came from — your recent cycles (29, 31, 30 days…), their average, how much they vary, and why we're giving the next date a window of ±2 days. Every number is yours. No population averages, no model you can't see. ■ When there isn't much to go on, we say so While you've logged only one period, your ring turns on a borrowed, typical 25 days. From 4.2 we say that plainly: it's borrowed. Borrowed numbers never wear your face. The moment you log your next period, the numbers on screen become your own. ■ When your cycles vary, we don't pretend Sometimes you've logged plenty and the window still won't narrow. We won't tell you "just N more" — because more wouldn't narrow it. We'll say your cycles simply vary, and that we're keeping the date wide on purpose. ■ Flory can reach out now Once your ring is turning, we ask you once whether you'd like a heads-up before your period. Say "not now" and we won't ask again. Notifications are assembled on this device — no server is involved. ■ About the setup message that said your period was "a problem" A one-day period, or a slightly long one, should never have been called a problem. That message is gone. We also changed how the date is entered: days you can't choose no longer appear on the calendar at all. ■ Removed empty locks from the first-day Insights screen People who had just started logging were meeting a row of Plus locks with nothing behind them yet. While there's nothing behind the gate, we don't show the gate. Also in this release • Fixed a full-screen ad that appeared right after setup • Faster launch • Help text rewritten to match the app you actually have (there are no accounts and no points) All of this is worked out on this phone. Your records stay here too, as always.
