A core tool for my Spanish journey
I read the Fluent Forever book, then bought this app, and have gradually built up to over 2000 known words and phrases in Spanish. Vocabulary used to just slip out of my head as soon as I learned it, but with this method it sticks. I like that the app allows me to insert my own images. That way I can separately make an AI-generated mnemonic image that helps me remember even better, and then insert it into my flashcards for this app (for example, have an AI program make an image of a guy jumping over a salt shaker for “saltar” meaning to jump). I also use this app to memorize short sentences or phrases that reinforce grammar rules. To do that I separately make an AI generated image of a person saying the phrase in English in a speech bubble, and pair that with the Spanish sentence or phrase. Overall this app has been the bedrock of me building out my Spanish vocabulary, while I’ve used other tools for some of the other aspects of language learning.

Had to request a refund!
I had bought the fluent forever book because I wanted to learn Spanish. I really liked the book so I decided to try the app that was mentioned in the book. At first it seemed like it was going to be super helpful, from looking at the free version, so I decided to buy the monthly premium subscription. After I purchased the premium monthly subscription for 11.99 per month, I see a little tiny icon at the top that looks like a present and is a coupon code that would make it only 8.99 per month, only unfortunately I had already just purchased the same thing for 11.99! And on top of that, when I clicked the purchase button, it said that the purchase was successful and the app even started showing up under my subscriptions on my Apple account. However, nothing unlocked!! The app still kept requesting me to purchase a subscription!! Everything stayed locked up! I even tried reaching out to the company 3 different times with no response at all other than the automated response showing a ticket number and saying that they’re on it! But no actual emails from any real people to address the issue. After two full days with no response from this company I had to reach out to Apple support and tell them what happened and request a refund!! As of today it’s been 3 days since I had sent the first email to the company, and still no response. Don’t waste your money like I did, just hoping I can get it back, since the 11.99 I got charged literally didn’t unlock anything!!! Going to have to use a different app to learn Spanish!

Subscribed and Paid, but unable to use
I subscribed for one month on Sept 8, 2026, but the interface still show that I have to subscribe. I received the confirmation email from Apple, but still unable to use the premium features.
Do NOT get this buggy mess!
The book is great so I was wondering if all the app hate was warranted? it is… The most important aspect of your app, the subscription, is broken. I made a monthly subscription, “purchase successful” message, app hangs, on restart no premium features, can’t subscribe, and I have no idea if I was actually charged though my subscription page says I am! I will be making a refund claim and DELETING this buggy mess

BEST LANGUAGE APP
It helps to understand if you read the book on the best way to learn a language. But Even if you don’t the videos are helpful enough. The app is easy to use and I’m rolling with my language.
