Excellent App
The Flute Prompter works as advertized. You can see the notes for any of the individual instruments that are in the MIDI file by selecting that instrument on the left side. You can mute any instruments that you don’t want to hear. The same company makes the App for other instruments as well and I hope they will make a prompter for the Tin Whistle which would also work for the six hole major flute. So far every MIDI file I’ve downloaded from the web as worked. I find the App easy to use but at first I didn’t know that I could select the individual instruments so that I could see the notes but I figured that out pretty quickly.
