Fluyo is a scam

(Gave this a negative review a year ago because the state it launched in. I look at it now and see it hasn’t received an update in a year. Lol I was right about the scam it seems. Took peoples money and ran away with it. Never trust a kickstarter again.)

Aside from the abysmal state it launched in… The moment I heard the dull, monotone AI teacher pronounce “quiere” like “key-air” while doing the Spanish wayfinder lessons, I knew this app was fundamentally flawed.

This app is cheap and lazy and not at all hand crafted. This is the work of AI technology and cheap digital assets. Which makes me wonder, where did all that money from kickstarter and donations go to? Cause it sure wasn’t Fluyo. Hospital bills maybe? 🤔

I’m better off with the apps I’ve been using as they as far superior. Which is sad, cause if u followed the journey of Fluyo like I did, u would know this was supposed to be fun and “the app to replace all apps”. Yah… what a joke. It’s neither.

Just completely mid

Honestly the most basic thing you could think of as a language learning app. I feel as if the creator of this app really made this sound like it was going to be worth the wait however everything feels rushed and almost fake and second hand. The animations are clunky as well as the buttons. Overall an extraordinarily bang average design which would only appeal and most likely impress a 3 year old. Don’t waste your time.

A lot of potential but misses the mark.

Many of the classes don’t work. the app crashes a lot resulting in you never getting to progress. You games and animations are fine but the whole Portuguese class doesn’t work it crashes or just doesn’t active lessons. French classes crash once you get to any of the combat sessions at least for me. A lot of crashing and infinite loading screens. A good effort and the explanation of lessons are good for the French part. This has great potential so I’ll update my review once the app isn’t so buggy. The team should still be proud of themselves they really have a good start and it could be great soon.

Please Keep Developing it!

It’s a wonderful app, and it’s beautifully designed. And I think it would be a really great language learning game. There’s just a lot of little bugs and issues that, if fixed, would make it so much better. (Note: so far I’ve only used it as an English speaker learning Japanese, which I think is why I’m experiencing a lot of issues. On top of learning the spoken language you have to learn multiple forms of writing. I suspect that using it with languages like Spanish or German might function better.)

Buggy

This app looked very promising. It would definitely be a good way to learn a language by playing games. I'm learning Italian and when I click on Italian, it says: "so you wanna learn Spanish, buena elección!" Like no, I don't wanna learn Spanish. If I wanted to, I would've clicked on it instead of Italian.
