What's New in Flyover Country

3.0.4

September 14, 2026

Offline saving can now run in the background and is significantly faster. Also improved initial flight load times. Our 'Live' augmented reality mode now projects roads, map labels, and satellite imagery onto your camera screen, so you can align the view perfectly with what you're seeing out the window. We're also bringing back the geologic map layer. Flyover Country was recently rebuilt from the ground up. Please report any issues you run into!

Great app but might be abandoned

I’ve loved taking this app with me when I travel. It’s provided insight into what I’m seeing just outside the window, whether it is by plane or by car. But it has some issues that are popping up and emails to the developers come back as undeliverable. I’m worried this app has been abandoned.

Bug report- can't save

Updating old review for this. Getting error messages when I try to save new paths. (I just rely on my old saved paths now. ) Many years after my original download I still love this app, and I hope someone is keeping the lights on.

Have never been able to get this app to work. Never gets a GPS fix. Garbage.

Fix save to iOS please

Love the app, been using for years. Can no longer save paths on iPhone, always an error about internet connection.

Hint: It’s not an internet connection issue.
