Worthless

Have never been able to get this app to work. Never gets a GPS fix. Garbage.

Please release a fix :(

Such a great app, pity it doesn’t work anymore

Fix save to iOS please

Love the app, been using for years. Can no longer save paths on iPhone, always an error about internet connection.

Hint: It’s not an internet connection issue.

BUG REPORT: Can’t save anything

I LOVE this app! I only added a lower rating to try and get attention to this bug report. On iOS you can no longer save anything. I’ve been using the app for years without problems, but a few months ago I noticed the bug that doesn’t allow you to save data. I tried reporting it through the app and nothing happens when you click “provide feedback “

Loved the app but lately

Failed to initiate file system on startup? Thoughts? Brand new iPad. Up to date iOS

Doesnt allow path saving to IPAD

there s a bug on Ipad Mini 6, does not allow to create or save paths on ipad. Fails with Error “Requests failed,, please check internet connection”

Fully recommend

Although I have flown many times I still feel anxious and I realise that is a lot to do with not knowing where I am. I downloaded this a few days ahead of my flight, typed in the route and saved the maps. I was able to easily get GPS location of where I was while at high altitudes and found it really useful- fully recommend and will use again.

Doesn’t work at all

Every time I try to create path it says it failed because I’m not connected to the internet. I have full bars plus wifi available. And yes I tried to break the path into tiny pieces too. Nothing works. Very disappointing. Would love if it worked

💀

I tried downloading a route and it just stops at 71% I’m on decent wifi

GPS Kaput!

It could have been a great app… if the GPS worked.
I wonder why so many navigation apps are disappearing from the App Store.

GPS no longer works

Used this app in the past and loved it, but tried using it on several trips this year and GPS has not worked. Not very useful. I have other mapping apps that can find GPS signal when this app can’t, so it seems to be a problem specific to this app.

Nice if it worked but it doesn’t

iPhone 14 location services on - doesn’t find GPS whether you’re online, on cell, or in airplane mode.

IF it worked, a failing is that it doesn’t identify rivers.

Too bad. Would be great it if worked.

Works good, but data save is very slow

I love the interactive tour…. Best from a window seat. Why does the data take so long to download?

App doesn’t work

I fly between the coasts a few times a year. I got the app to work for a short time my first flight about two years ago but it’s never worked since. I can never find gps even if inflight wifi is available.

Great concept…

GPS very spotty and 90% of time does not work even on my new iphone. Window seat held up to window … all of the stuff they suggest does not make difference. Love the idea but very frustrating to download route and not be able to use them . Deleting app.

Rarely sees gps data

I love the concept of this app but have been sorely disappointed trying to use it.
It’s always “searching for gps signal”. The strange thing is other apps seem to see the gps. If I open Google maps, I can’t see the map but I can see that my position is moving on the grid. Same with Apple Maps. There’s some technical glitch here.

What happened to the Wikipedia articles?

Most recent update seems to have removed them. That really damages the usefulness of the app. Globe Observer offers very little other content at the moment.

Sad, seemed like a nice app

I used the app for one trip and really enjoyed it, but, sadly, haven’t been able to save a path since. The download gets to about 95 % (according the indicator anyway) and hangs after that, every time.

Portrait nonsense

Portrait orientation only, worthless.
