80% off is a lie

Apparently we get “80% off” the yearly 9.99? (it’s 7.49!)
are we serious?
that’s 80% of, not off

+the fact that you only provide one article/statistic and that is apparently meant to “help” people feel safer. relying on one piece of information? and you need to pay premium for it , which i understand- but showing only one piece of information is very unhelpful and makes this app pointless

This app is a scam

The stats are completely made up. The developers have no access to pilot or maintenance history and is making money off of fear mongering. Flying is completely safe, you don’t need to pay this app to be told that. Also, I love seeing American flying the A330, a plane they retired 5 years ago, or them flying a 737 between JFK and LHR. This app is completely bogus and you shouldn’t pay money for it.

Not Accuarate

This app is simply unable to accurately provide the information it claims it provides. All airlines pilots in the US are trained and held to the same standard.

Scam

This app doesn’t provide evidence based information. Just fear mongering.

Scam ****DO NOT BUY*****

Please do not waste your money. Just fear mongering.

FAQ

What does FlySafe do?

FlySafe provides predictive flight safety scores based on pilot experience, aircraft reliability, maintenance quality, turbulence, and over 30 years of historical aviation accident data. It helps users understand historical risks before booking flights and offers a supportive community for anxious flyers.

How are the flight safety scores calculated?

Scores are generated by proprietary AI models trained on over 30 years of historical global aviation accident data. These scores reflect general historical trends and are based on factors like pilot experience, aircraft reliability, maintenance quality, and turbulence. They are predictive estimates and not guarantees of future outcomes.

Is FlySafe free to use?

The app can be used for free to browse limited flight data. To access all data and unlock all features, users can purchase a Premium Plan through a weekly or annual subscription. Payment is charged to your Apple ID and auto-renews unless canceled.

What kind of data does FlySafe use?

FlySafe uses publicly available data sourced from government agencies like the FAA and NTSB. This data includes over 30 years of historical global aviation accident records, which are updated daily. The app's methodology and data sources are detailed on their website.

Can FlySafe guarantee flight safety?

No, FlySafe provides predictive estimates only and cannot guarantee future outcomes. The flight safety scores are based on matching historical public aviation data and general historical trends. The app is not affiliated with any airline, government agency, or aircraft manufacturer.
