as someone who gets distracted VERY easily focus friend is an amazing way to focus on school and even getting other things done without getting distracted! it is so fun to customize your beans house! my beans name is Lima! also this is just a suggestion but i think it would be fun which different themes like colored themes or as someone who really likes harry potter like a harry potter theme ect… i also would love for bean to make his own clothes if you added a closet and bedroom! i think one suggestion is that i use it so much that i have already bought one of everything and it is fun to get more than one of each thing but i also feel like it would be really fun for bean to have a bathroom, bedroom, kitchen, game room or maybe even like a closet, pantry or even like a garden or backyard! i think if you get distracted focus friend is such a great app! please get it! they did an amazing job making it! also 100% safe for kids all ages really one of the best apps ever! thank you so much hank green i would really really love to hear back from you! thanks so much! over all really pleased thank you! It really helps motivate me not to use my phone as Cabbage (my little Bean) is busy and I don't wish to disturb him. Before I was on 13+ hrs of screen time, now I'm down to about 3?
I'd love if pros could have even longer timers, maybe up to 12 hours so It can motivate me to sleep well at night. Otherwise, it's a fantastic app!

Good, But…
This app has been so helpful with managing my ADHD while satisfying my interest in interior design. However, the images on the screen (e.g. charts, option to buy Pro) have started to overwhelm the entire screen. It makes things distracting, which defeats the purpose of the calm design. If there was just a way to hide the icons in a small menu that could expand or retract, that would be fantastic!

The fact they’ve got accessories & more added for those who don’t pay to play/use focus friend is a great addition. I had planned leaving it in the past cuz there was nothing more to do, thanks for changing my mind.

I love the whole app, it’s very cute and simple. It also genuinely helps me focus. One little Easter egg I found was that it has widgets!! You get to see your Bean through the window. And it changes based on the window you’ve set! Five stars!!!!!

This app is amazing! I had trouble working for more than 10 mins before but afterwards, I managed to study for hours. I love how cute everything is and just adding, this app is the best!

BONUS: I wasn’t expecting this but i love the background music and I’ll leave it on to work sometimes. I did this while pregnant. They do say that your hatchling can hear stuff right? Well the focus friend music helps put my newborn to sleep, best bonus reason to use the app.

I LOVE THIS APP!!
Focus Friend is genuinely unironically one of my favourite apps out there. I have ADHD and get easily distracted and unmotivated and i've tried sooo many apps and techniques like putting my phone in another room, study timers or even app blocks but without that little reward at the end it seems pointless. Like why don't i just go on my phone nothings stopping me?? BUT NO I CANT LET MY BEAN UNRAVEL HER SOCKS!! I mostly use the deep focus mode which rlly helps me from out of habit picking up my phone and doomscrolling when trying to study and i loveeee that you can choose a count up or down timer it's rlly rlly helpful! Anyways i LOVE this app and i've been there from the start of when it was just one room, it's gotten me through so many study sessions so thank you so so much Hank for creating this app!

this is literally my favorite app. i have accumulated wealth on here and i have a suggestion - what if, for a LOT of socks and scarves, you could buy real life merch and/or different beans? i have purchased multiple sets of furniture for every room and every bean accessory, but still use the app daily! last rec: please add bean plushies to the merch!

I use focus friend almost every day. I’m not an all the time pro user, but it IS well worth it imo. I hope they keep creating rooms and items because it helps me keep focused and is one of the very few things that feels like a “reward” when I get to choose new decor lol

I have some suggestions like to:
1. Have special beans being able to buy with socks and/or able to buy once you’ve focused for a certain period of time because you might want it a lot but you don’t have money.
2. Some things cost a heck of socks, so maybe cut the price a little?
3. Maybe make every focus session have a slim chance to drop scarves even without pro.
4.Have a pause button in case you have something unexpected happen like dinner you actually focus that long to earn the socks
5.I think the timer skipped past a second in the countdown timer can you see if I saw it right.
6.My bean wears the ascot and for some reason the arm just goes through the cloth.
7.Have the bean grow mold when you don’t focus for one day and die if you don’t do it again.
8. Be able to drag your bean around
9.Be able to see the out side of the walls.
IT WOULD BE GREAT IF YOU COULD TRY ONE OF THESE THINGS OUT. :D

I signed up for pro while it was 1.99 and after the price went up, I wasn’t grandfathered in, so I lost access to pro even though my subscription was still active. That’s very shady to me. If I hadn’t canceled, I would’ve still been charged for no extra perks.

So cute!
I love this app. It really helps me focus and put my phone down. Except I think the rooms are kinda overpriced, as they are 1000+ socks. One more idea, can you make it so that I can interact with the items in the different rooms(such as sitting down at the desk)? Other than that, I LOVE this app and really recommend it!
UPDATE: y’all this is awesome but still the rooms are so overpriced. Also when I do the count up, if it goes over two hours I feel like it starts counting down socks. I focus literally all night and all day at school but only gives me 105- socks. Please respond devs and FIX IT PLZ

I thought that since the price of the rooms went up by 500 socks each time the garden would be 2500, right? Nope! 2000 and my sock inventory is not completely empty! Yayyy!
