So Nice But …..
Like this app is great because it is good enough to name the bean after my stuffie Smomi.
I have some suggestions like to:
1. Have special beans being able to buy with socks and/or able to buy once you’ve focused for a certain period of time because you might want it a lot but you don’t have money.
2. Some things cost a heck of socks, so maybe cut the price a little?
3. Maybe make every focus session have a slim chance to drop scarves even without pro.
4.Have a pause button in case you have something unexpected happen like dinner you actually focus that long to earn the socks
IT WOULD BE GREAT IF YOU COULD TRY ONE OF THESE THINGS OUT. :D

I love this app. It really helps me focus and put my phone down. Except I think the rooms are kinda overpriced, as they are 1000+ socks. One more idea, can you make it so that I can interact with the items in the different rooms(such as sitting down at the desk)? Other than that, I LOVE this app and really recommend it!
UPDATE: y’all this is awesome but still the rooms are so overpriced. Also when I do the count up, if it goes over two hours I feel like it starts counting down socks. I focus literally all night and all day at school but only gives me 105- socks. Please respond devs and FIX IT PLZ

I thought that since the price of the rooms went up by 500 socks each time the garden would be 2500, right? Nope! 2000 and my sock inventory is not completely empty! Yayyy! Great app!
I really enjoy using Focus Friend and it is a part of my daily routine. The only issue is the placement of the air conditioner in the bedroom. It currently overlaps with my poster and I cannot move it. I would appreciate it if you could fix this!

Cute, but disappointing.
I’ve loved using this app to help me stay focused, but as you progress through unlocking rooms to decorate, things get so expensive you feel like you have to upgrade to pro. And I was actually about to do it till I recently found out Hank Green uses and supports the destruction of our environment with ChatGPT and other AI models, so I’ll now be looking for alternatives to support and recommend to my friends. Very disappointed.

Absolutely brilliant app, gamifies my focus time and makes me use the app more and more to upgrade my Beans home! I’ve become quite attached to ‘Bert’, he’s my little buddy. Cannot wait to see what new rooms are added as I have unlocked all of them at the moment. I really hope the developers keep adding bits, it’s brilliant, so much so I happily pay for pro 🥰

Mixed Feelings About Push Notifications
Cool idea and I’ve gotten some good use out of it. But I’ve noticed the app starting to send me push notifications when I wasn’t using it as much. Sure I could turn them off, but it feels like a betrayal. Like I can no longer trust the app isn’t actually trying to distract me. So in short, the app itself works fine, I just feel betrayed since it’s supposed to be a focus app.

I had the premium edition and quickly ran out of rooms to decorate, essentially making the app an expensive timer. I was waiting to see if they would add more when Hank Green posted on X about how he used ai all the time for his work and videos. Deleted the app and unfollowed on all platforms.

Install if you want your phone to buzz frequently in hopes of getting you to buy something

I love this app! I’ve tried so many focus apps but this is the only one that’s actually worked for me. My bean is so cute and helps me stay motivated even when I can feel my brain seeking out distractions or stimulation. As someone who works in graphic design, I’ve always got to meet deadlines and ADHD can make that really difficult, but my little bean makes it just a bit easier to focus and break jobs up into smaller tasks. The only thing I would love to see is clothing options for the little guy!

Like the app but rather than take money why not expand it?!?!
I got the paid version for my daughter and I as a fun way to cut down on screen time. But once you’re done decorating the number of rooms, that’s IT! Money gone, no way to do more. Now the app is launching merch rather than expanding the app?!?! Total rip off!
Helpful, Cute, Fun
I’ve been using this app for months now, and it’s been more helpful for me than any other productivity app! As someone with ADHD, I appreciate the dopamine boost from acquiring socks and scarves, and then using to get cool things for Bean’s rooms! I genuinely have fun with it, and the app-blocking feature especially helps me stay focused, hehe … my only minor complaint is that I run out of rooms / decorative options too quickly and then have to wait a good while for a new one. Sometimes I’ll redecorate, but new options would motivate me more. :)
