great but please make stuff cheaper

I know you guys need money from ads and locking stuff behind ads but I think you should make music cheaper because I think 500 is a bit much without paying. I think that even 200 would be good, please see this.

Poor "randomization" and odds stacking

Took me 55 tries with rabbit foot to get divine gear (should have had around 4-5) - this happens constantly whether it's gear, skill chests, or mystic cabin items.

"Randomization" needs fixing, or stated odds should reflect the true hidden odds and parameters.

Not getting subscription benefits or adequate support.

I paid for the subscription but am not getting the benefits, despite reinstalling, rebooting, etc. I also can’t connect support or report a bug without going to an external website, creating an account, and posting on a community forum — not contacting the support team directly or submitting a ticket.

Great Focus Game; Terrible Whitelist

This app is rare in that it feels like effort was put into this being a game with utility, rather than many other focus apps which feel like slightly gamified utilities. I love that there are multiple progression systems to work towards.

The one thing that most other apps have over Focus Quest is integration into Apples Screen Time feature for making a working whitelist system for strict mode. This apps unlimited whitelist system feels like an obsolete workaround that just never got updated. It actually really cripples the functionality for me, since I like to do flashcards on my phone, but unlimited whitelisting makes the distraction dissuading functionality of this game pretty much null. I would really like to see this updated to take advantage of Screen Time to make actual whitelists for strict mode, like so many other apps do.

So Glad this app exists

AMAZING

Im on the high end of adhd and autism, i appear normal and have high intelligence, i have downloaded and reviewed 2 other games that are similar to this, yet no i never agree with subcriptions that this and the others have, id say this is the cheapest, BUT what i AM shocked to find is that after the intro and the screen that shows the subscription, i believe there is NO way to access it again after(they should still have it) but to me this is undeniable evidence this app doesnt just want money, it WANTS to help you, compared to others that locks HUGELY helpful features behind a pay wall, this app doesnt, this app (from the first minutes ive played it) appears to be fun and engaging, not quick, not underworked, its been made with love, this app is cute and quirky which means its good for kids, its in depth side means its useful for older kids too, maintaining the competitive edge of having a warrior better then others and by keeping focus doing so, so, for my conclusion, to parents and carers, i ADVISE this app, it is perfect even without a subscription, tho you may want that, id suggest this app over others as i seems to be most effective at retaining the brain and time of someone with adhd or other needs that suffer badly.

представляла себе нечно подобное несколько лет назад, и расстраивалась, что никто не сделал. а вы прям сделали! и с классной статистикой, и куча мелочей, кнопочек, достижений — всё, чтобы мотивировать к фокусировке и структурности таких хаотичных чуваков, как я. пусть стилистика не в моем вкусе, но все же очень приятно попользоваться. пожелание: займитесь, пожалуйста, переводом на русский язык, чтобы я смогла рекомендовать игру знакомым! ❤️‍🔥

C’est juste dommage que le jeux soit très facile
Je suis un try harder et en un peu plus d’un mois le jeu est terminé
Plus d’histoire, plus de découverte
Le game play commence à être redondant, aucunes découverte en plus

En outre que ça c’est un très bon jeu c’est fun, c’est relax et il m’a beaucoup aidé dans mon addiction au téléphone
Donc mission accomplie 👍😸😜

I love Focus Quest, with a few exceptions.

Unlike other apps that are just timers with a few game elements, Focus Quest feels more like a full game with a timer integrated. Even after completing the main story, I can continue leveling up and doing raids and the Time Rift, which keeps it fun.

I also appreciate how affordable the premium version is—$4 a month is more than reasonable for an app that helps me focus, improve my work performance, balance work and breaks, reduce overwhelm and burnout, and spend less time on my phone when I’m with others. It really is a gamechanger.

The training is gradual so you aren’t overwhelmed by game mechanics, and I enjoy the music and background sounds, especially the rainforest and thunderstorm options.

There are two significant downsides I’ve noticed. First, once I select a tag (like “Work”), I have to keep a tag active and can’t untag it for non-specific focus time. Second, you have a limited number of times you can use the Whitelist option per day, which is extremely disruptive because I need to use certain apps on my phone (two-factor authentication, calls). I pay for Premium, so why am I still limited?

Для использования функции фокусировки необходимо разрешение на доступ, чтобы определить, есть ли у вас доступ к другим приложениям во время сеанса фокусировки. Starts good then you can’t focus or work cause you spend so much time in game.

I was super excited for this game and then I found out that you end up playing the game more than you do actually getting work done. There’s so much to do in the game that I started to resenting the app because I felt like it was trying to get me to play the game more and more. They kinda need to back off, making it so addictive and actually make it so that you can be productive and just play a little bit. Maybe even building in a time limit of you’ve been playing the game for 30 minutes time to get back to work

Not able to sync account

I tried syncing my accounts through Facebook but it kept loading. Please try to fix this. It’s a really helpful app that gets you to focus on activities but I can’t sync my progress.

Too many conversations

Nice app but too many conversations between characters and also majorly the warrior running in focus time is far too distracting and there is no horizontal mode in focus time

This is the one!!! 🧙‍♂️‼️

Out of all of the timers I’ve downloaded, this is definitely my favourite one. Do NOT underestimate this app - it’s so extensive and sm content 🤭
It’s got an RPG-style character builder and weapon/skill tree progression, daily quests, a storyline (!?!?!?), very good UI, online modes with friends (!!??!) —all to gamify the studying experience. But most importantly, the timers are very capable; there’s a stopwatch, a countdown, and Pomodoro! It also turns the screen dark to save energy when you flip the phone over. It makes me so excited to study.

One downside of this app is having no offline mode. I guess it’s fine, since this app doesn’t push ads in your face. In these cases, I just use a different focus timer app.

There’s so much to discover here - I don’t even think I have space to list everything, which is really unique for a focus app. It shows how much they wen above and beyond to make this app - so download it and improve your study time! 😆🏰🧙‍♂️⚔️
