Thank you so much for the thoughtful feedback. I’m really happy you like the widgets, tags, and charts. You’re right about the post-session screen and quotes. The first app had more variety there, and I’ll keep this in mind as I continue improving Focus Tomato 2. I would love to bring back more of that small reward feeling after each focus session.

Hi prizedfox, Thanks for your feedback, and I'm sorry for the inconvenience. Regarding the pause function — it has been added in version 2.3. Please update the app and give it a try. As for why we released a brand-new app instead of just updating the original one: Focus Tomato 2 was rebuilt from the ground up with a different architecture, design, and feature roadmap, so it no longer shares the same foundation as the original. That said, the original app will continue to be maintained, so you're welcome to keep using whichever one suits you better. If you have any other suggestions, please feel free to let me know. Can’t pause the timer.
I also can’t pause this timer like I can in the original app, which is extremely important, so I’ll be using the original app.

Hi Cindy, Thank you again for your feedback — and I want to come back with a proper update. On the iCloud sync issue: You were right to be frustrated. The older version of Focus Tomato 2 had a serious bug: the "iCloud Sync" status display wasn't actually reading the system's CloudKit state, so even when sync was failing, the screen would still look like everything was fine. That made you doubt your own data, and that's on us. I'm truly sorry. In version 2.4, we've rebuilt the entire iCloud sync logic. The "Data Sync" section under Settings now shows the real sync status, and we've added a "Data not syncing?" help page to walk you through troubleshooting. Please update to the latest version: https://apps.apple.com/app/id6749494224 If anything still isn't right after updating, please email support@claushuang.com and we'll help you sort it out as soon as possible. On the iPad display: A native iPad layout is still on our roadmap. We haven't shipped it yet, but it hasn't been forgotten — we'll fit it into an upcoming update. Приносим извинения за то, что таймер не подаёт звуковой сигнал по окончании — это действительно неудобно 🙏 У звукового оповещения в «Focus Tomato» есть две распространённые причины блокировки, и обе относятся к настройкам системы iOS (не к настройкам самого приложения), поэтому их легко упустить: — Беззвучный режим устройства (переключатель на боковой грани): в беззвучном режиме срабатывает только вибрация. Переключите устройство в режим со звонком. — Режим «Фокусирование» в iOS блокирует уведомления: зайдите в «Настройки → Фокусирование», выберите активный режим и добавьте «Focus Tomato» в список «Разрешённые приложения». Если обе настройки уже проверены, а звук всё равно не появляется, мы продолжим разбираться и улучшать стабильность звукового оповещения. Спасибо за ваше терпение и обратную связь!
