Okay
Also wish there was a whitelist vs blacklist, so that every app is blocked by default except for specified apps.
And I wish there was customization of the session not freeing apps automatically until directed, thereby taking a longer break than normal, and also automatically ending a break and going back into focus mode so you also can’t take a longer break than normal.
I do like the iCloud syncing, pomorodo timer ability, scheduling, and motivational messages on trying to open blocked apps though.

Thank you so much for taking the time to write this, seriously. Feedback this detailed is exactly what shapes where FocuTime goes next. The good news: your #1 request is already here. FocuTime 2.3 ships Strict Mode once your session starts, you can't end it early. No breaks on demand, no escape hatch unless there's a genuine emergency (there's an Emergency Override for that). Please update the app and give it a try I think it's exactly what you were looking for. You're absolutely right about the whitelist idea, and it's something I've been thinking about too. Right now the app is blacklist-only (you pick what to block), but a "block everything except..." mode would be far more powerful for deep focus. It's on my list no ETA yet, but it's a real priority. The break-locking idea is also genuinely great not being able to stretch a break beyond its time, and automatically returning to focus mode when it ends. That's a different kind of discipline than Strict Mode and I hadn't thought about it that way until reading your review. I'm adding it to the roadmap. I'm really glad the iCloud sync, scheduling, and the shield messages are landing well. Those took a lot of care to get right. If you have a moment after updating, I'd love to hear what you think of Strict Mode. And if you ever want to share ideas directly, I'm reachable at support@focutime.app. — Emad, FocuTime
Miracle for me
