start / end time
i love this app, its great, i would recommend to change one thing tho. when i add new event and add the start time, sometimes it doesn’t allow me to finish the process because the end time does not correlate. i would make the end time optional (bc activity does not always require it) or somehow automatically change it to correlate with the start time. aside from that, no notes!
update: why did you paywalled the number of courses u could have, who the hell could only have 3 classes? used this app every day, disappointed

Boo :(
Downloaded this app because I heard some good things about it. Immediately deleted my account after seeing there is a three course limit without the premium monthly subscription. Like as if the cost of living isn’t especially hard on students :/ extra shameful considering it seems this app used to have a higher course limit that reflects what the average student needs. Will not be recommending this to anyone 👎

Got greedy eh?
I used to love this app! It’s super cute and great for organizing school/work/tasks. HOWEVER, they updated the entire thing so the paid feature isn’t a one time purchase anymore, there’s only the subscription available. They also restricted the amount of class folders that you can have down to 3, unless you pay for the subscription. The reason I downloaded this app was because it had a very accessible free version and I even considered paying for the one time payment, but now that it’s a subscription and locks even the most basic of features behind that subscription I will no longer be using it. I understand that the devs need to make money but succumbing to using subscriptions like all the other megacorporations is a low blow.

Joining Issue
So I’ve actually used this app before but had to delete it since my storage was getting full. The app is amazing and organizing makes it so much more aesthetic and fun. However, when I try to send in an application or join again, the app immediately crashes. I’ve tried many times and deleted/reinstalled the app to try again but the issue keeps happening.

Unusable for college students…
I have been using Folderly and loving it for around 3 years now, but I went to put in my classes for the new semester and it only allowed me to create 3 before locking me behind a paywall. Who only takes 3 classes? Very weird, used to be able to use it just fine. When creating premium features, please keep in mind what your customers will actually be using it for. Who only takes 3 classes???

Seriously? A limit of 3?
It used to be more, 3 isn’t even enough for the classes I have. Genuinely what is this update?? If you have all these paywalls, it doesn’t give anyone a good reason to use your app!!! I’m so upset...

This app is great and helps me a lot! But please add more courses in the free option because i have way more than 3 classes! And i cant afford the premium version. It’ll help me a lot!
Pretty okay
The version of the app that you get for free is very cute and thought out. The color choices are nice, the course option is great, the calendar is a nice feature and so is the class schedule. You can add your own images to your id and other things as well which is very nice. There are a few issues I have that others might encounter.
For starters you are only allowed to enter in three courses for free, otherwise you’ll need the plus version. This is pretty inconvenient since you’d never think that a core feature would be locked behind a paywall. Not only that, but the advertisement that shows for Folderly+ when you run out of courses promises you “unlimited courses” but when searching further it only says it’ll offer an additional 3+ courses. This difference does not make me want to buy the subscription, because what will I truly be getting? I understand money needs to be made, so I hope that when more plus features roll out, they’ll at least consider making more courses available.
Another issue is the scrolling for start and end times. It’s quite buggy and you need to hit a very specific spot in order to get your proper time. It’s not life changing but certainly is annoying.
Lastly, there is no way to look at your class schedule in full during the weekends (that I am aware of, if there is it is very unclear as to how anyone would be able to access it). Again, not life changing, but I don’t want to wait two whole days just to see my class schedule and customize it.
It is a cute app overall, but you’re only getting 7 benefits overall with the free version (unlimited to-do list, 3 courses, the calendar, the schedule, and custom images).

I miss the old Folderly
Don’t bother downloading if you have more than three classes. I used to be able to have all seven of my classes scheduled and it really helped me with keeping track of time… disappointing

About a year ago I paid around thirteen dollars for Folderly+ it was good at first. I was promised when paying that I would have access for all future additions because I paid for it all together (Folderly+ exclusives plus any other new releases). Now I go on the app and see that they’ve introduced the subscriptions, and see I don’t get the new features I PAID FOR!!! I hit the refresh purchases and NOTHING has happened. Very Disappointing by this app I had enjoyed it years prior but now it’s a money grab and scamming customers, to the readers of this just use Google Calendar save money for school. Shame on you Folderly team, I want my money back.

Love it however i really wish they made a version for the Macbook. I do most of my school work on there and it would be so much easier than switching between devices.
Lowkey sucks
I noticed the app crashing being fixed in the latest update, but it was still crashing so I had to get on another device. On that, seeing the limit for course folders being three is disappointing. The preview shows you could make MORE than three but of course you have to pay. If you don't know how to make your own to-do lists or want to pay for a greedy developer, I recommend getting. I would've kept this if it worked on its potential. PLEASE do make it better.

Helpful! But There’s a paywall
This app is really cute and helps me stay organized for school! I love the cute ID cards, the confetti with the todo, and the widgets —it really helps me to stay organized. The major downside however is the paywall now. I have about 8-9 classes but without paying, you can only add 3 courses. It sucks because this app was really useful when there wasn’t a paywall, but there is now which I think is what brings it down.

Folderly Plus
This used to be my favorite app for tracking, until today. I noticed whenever I tried adding another course after only having 2 I somehow reached my limit? I understand if it was the fact I had 2 schedules for those 2 classes but I used to be able to have all my 7 classes with no problem. It’s kind of sad seeing this app fall money hungry.

its a good app, but a 3 course limit for non paying users isn't fair.
i love this app! but ever since it started getting more popular, it started updating more. fine! but why is there a limit to how many courses you can make? if ur using it for free, you can only have 3 courses. i have 4 courses per semester. why do we have to pay for that?

This app is amazing used it for 1 year straight and it was wonderful for scheduling and managing tasks. But now it has a subscription that only allows 3 free course selections which is impossible for me to use because I have more than 3 courses. I would be fine if there was at least a once payment to get all the access but there’s only yearly and monthly. Which I find ridiculous, the least you can add is at least 5 courses for free. I’m sad because this was a really nice scheduling app before this happened..

Love this app and its interface, but I was wondering if you were considering some more features for more general organisation, eg like 'habits' or recurring tasks for people that have assignments at regular intervals.

i’ve been looking for an app like this for forever it’s so good it’s got a calendar and to do list, my favourite thing about it is i can also organise all the links and pdfs i need for my classes with my to dos as well plus it’s a super cute looking app ily folderly
