What's New in FoldNotes

1.3.4

September 25, 2026

Graph, database view and menu fixes • See a note's name in the graph without zooming in. Point at a note with a trackpad, mouse or Apple Pencil, or hold it with your finger, and its title and number of links appear beside it. Long titles wrap and stay inside the graph. • Fixed — on iPad, Back forgot where you came from after following the graph or a backlink. Open a note, and without tapping into it follow a note in its graph or backlinks: Back had nowhere to go. Following a link from a note's graph or backlinks now counts as using that note, so Back takes you to it. • Fixed — a database view's Days Until Due column counted the wrong task, and a day short. In a view that picks notes by their tasks — "due this week", say — the column reported the note's earliest unfinished task, even an overdue one the view never asked about. It now counts only the tasks the view's task rules match, and counts whole calendar days: a task due tomorrow used to read "Today". • Fixed — iPad showed two Help menus in the menu bar. FoldNotes' Documentation, Release Notes, Website, Contact Support and Newsletter items are now in the one Help menu.
