About
FollowMyCast is a bedtime player for audiobooks and podcasts that knows the exact moment you fall asleep — and quietly takes it from there.
PLAY ANYTHING
Open any MP3 or audio file: an audiobook, a sleepy podcast, rain on a tin roof. It starts instantly, keeps playing with the screen locked, and shows controls on the Lock Screen.
FALLS SILENT WHEN YOU FALL ASLEEP
Wearing your Apple Watch, just drift off. FollowMyCast reads your heart rate from Apple Health, learns your evening baseline, and when your heart settles into its sleep zone — and stays there — the sound gently fades out. No abrupt stops. A backup sleep timer covers nights without the watch.
THE SMART BOOKMARK
The app pinpoints when sleep actually began and drops a bookmark about five minutes before that moment. Tomorrow night the story continues from words you actually remember — not an hour past them.
VERIFIED BY APPLE HEALTH OVERNIGHT
While you sleep, Apple computes its own sleep analysis from all its sensors. Next time you open FollowMyCast, your bookmark is quietly re-checked against that official record and adjusted to the real moment — marked “Health-verified” in your history.
PRIVATE BY DESIGN
Heart-rate and sleep data never leave your iPhone. No servers, no accounts, no analytics, no ads. The app reads Apple Health locally and writes nothing back.
ALSO IN THE BOX
• Listening history with per-file resume points
• Gentle fade-out length you choose (15 s – 2 min)
• Loop mode for soundscapes
• Backup sleep timer: 15–90 minutes
• Works fully offline
FollowMyCast is not a medical device. Sleep detection requires an Apple Watch; the backup timer works everywhere.

What's New in FollowMyCast
1.2
June 23, 2026
Improved sleep detection reliability and Apple Health reconciliation. Playback sessions can now be corrected from Health sleep data even when live sleep detection did not fire, and Health monitoring starts more reliably when playback is already running.
