Works as designed
It is designed to work with the partner computer app. Works perfectly to copy photos from the PC to the phone and still be able to manage them on the phone. If you don’t use this phone app in that process, photos go to the From my MAC section in photos and can’t be managed.
When paired with the PC app, it works perfectly for moving content to and from an iPhone. I suspect any negative reviews were people trying to use this standalone without the paid partner PC app.

Not Ready For PrimeTime
Unreliable for finding other devices. Sometimes does; sometimes doesn’t (where Airdrop works every time). Puts received music in “Files” rather than in “Music”, and doesn’t provide any way for user to do it. No music organizational ability (except that folders can be created in Files). Apparently won’t allow transfer of any purchased music. And Sends, even if you CAN find the other device, fail midstream. This app is REALLY buggy!! Pretty much a waste of time as is.
