Doesn’t Work

I selected the fonts to install and followed the instructions it listed, but none of the fonts I “install” show up in the Fonts section of Settings, nor any apps that use custom fonts. I don’t know if this is an iPadOS 16.2 issue or an app one, but still disappointing nonetheless :(

Response from developer

Hi, thanks for your response. Since iOS14 fonts installed via configuration profiles (the method Fonteer) uses no longer show up in the fonts section in Settings. However, they can still be accessed by other apps! You can check which fonts you installed under ‘VPN & Device Settings’ and check the contents of the profile. You can also check Apple’s Pages app, in which you can use the fonts installed via Fonteer.

Coolz

It’s okay

Very good

Doesn’t work

App loads fonts into a vpn profile while iOS 15 cannot seem to recognize as fonts. Needs to be updated.

Response from developer

Thank for your review. Since iOS14 fonts installed via configuration profiles are no longer shown in Settings, but they are still available to other apps (provided the apps support installed fonts).

terrible; useless

i upgraded to the pro version and it still doesn’t work. i’d like a refund.

FAQ

What fonts can I install with this app?

You can install almost any font in .otf and .ttf formats. This includes fonts you locate on your computer, download from the internet, or easily browse and install directly from Google Fonts within the app.

Can I change the system font on my iPhone or iPad?

No, installing a font does not change the default system fonts used across your device. Instead, it makes the installed font available for use in other compatible applications that support system fonts.

Why isn't my installed font showing up in a specific app?

The app makes fonts available to the system, but it cannot force other applications to display them. You may need to contact the developer of the specific app to request support for all installed system fonts.

How does the free version differ from the paid upgrade?

The free version of the app allows you to install up to three fonts on your device. Upgrading via a one-time in-app purchase unlocks unlimited font installs, providing full functionality.

What devices and apps are compatible with this font installer?

The app is a universal app compatible with iPad, iPod, and iPhone. It works with many applications that allow system font usage, including Pages, Keynote, Numbers, Word, and PowerPoint.
