Exactly what I was looking for!
Have been looking for an app that tells me about the ingredients in products. I think linking ingredients to Wikipedia is genius and haven’t come across another food app that does this. The app isn’t concerned about my diet, age, gender, food goals. Easy to use interface. Thank you!
Better than similar apps on the market!
This app is a universal solution for scanning ingredients' labels. Similar apps on the market rely on barcodes or user input while this solution is automated. There is no need to write anything – just open the scanner, point it to the label and you will get instant response on what the app has found. Recognition in real time is quite a useful feature.

Wish it did more
I gave two stars only because the app did what it advertised; I misunderstood it though. It scans a food label, then gives a green, yellow or red rating to each ingredient. This was disappointing to me, because you cannot learn more about the ingredients. They don’t even provide an explanation of how the ratings are assigned. I would personally like to know more about the actual ingredient and also how the arbitrary color is assigned.

Response from developer
If you tap on the results chart after scanning and then on each ingredient you will find information from Wikipedia for each one. Our classification is based on manual research for all food ingredients in our database. You could imagine the amount of work, effort and time that we have done. Please update your rating if you find this application useful. It’s completely free after all.
