Top reviews

Would really like to list my measures in ounces or heck in whatever measure u prefer.

The required recording in grams is like taking hand grenades to fish with. Super over kill. I am an SI guy in my job and realize that mg become kg become the next biggest measure mega grams or some other absurd measure. A few grams eight way doesn’t matter. What about the beits that use pounds and stones. Please make it user friendly and a warm happy place to trust. With just g I feel like I’m
I’m sterile lab with trudging thru the line. Otherwise a truly brilliant app. It is truly friendly and inspired

HORRIBLE

Fix the damn app . It registers the calories for an item INCORRECTLY. What do you mean the mayo I used 37g of is only 13 calories when 15g is 35 calories????? I bought this to help me keep track of my calorie intake. It's one job and it doesn't do it right . Fix it .

Remove login requirement

Nice that login isn’t required to use scale at all, but makes no sense for trends. Shouldn’t need to log in just to see trends in LOCAL data when I can just send that data to Apple Health app and see trends there - there’s no “value added”, you’re just data mining email addresses.

Calories not accurate

Not one thing I tried to scan in was accurate when compared to label. The scale I got from amazon was great but this app is trash. Does not do the literal one thing it’s supposed to do. Zero stars.

Terrible

Bought the smart scale and downloaded this app for it, I can barely find half of the items I use regularly for my meals. Without a barcode scanner option the scale is basically useless, MyFitnessPal is a way better option

Kinda hard to just

it takes a bit to figure how things work but it weighs just fine. half the barcodes I scan don't work which is annoying but oh well. I'm trying to figure out how to add certain items to a favorite list? can anyone tell me how?

WTH so hard to use!

I expect open the app and enter a food and it should smart enough to use the measured weight to fill in directly. But I still have to entering it manually??? Waste of time

Wish

I love the concept but those of us who are tracking fiber as well, such a Keto dieters. This is a waste because there is not an option to calculate net carbs. If this feature was added, I’d give this 5 stars

Incorrect calories

I created my own recipe by scanning and then weighing the ingredients. However, the app does not calculate the correct macros. I’ve checked the serving size, unit of measurement, amount, etc. I’ve entered manually and via the scale. Everytime, the macros are wrong. If you click each individual ingredient, they’re correct. But when the recipe adds them up, it’s way higher than it should be. Again, I’ve checked the serving size and unit of measurement. It’s all correct. I’m either missing something or this app doesn’t work.

Scanner

No scan option for food, therefore worthless

Foodiet app (why scanned codes not showing nutrient info)

I’ve tried to use it several times to scan items for calories/nutrition, & it says it can’t find info— but I just discovered that the apps I was scanning when I experiment & scan them with my camera, they don’t give nutrition info either as often it only leads to the website of the product, not to any nutrient/calorie info. I get it now, the scanner works fine in this app, but the scan codes on the products DO NOT always give nutrient info but instead feed a website addy, therefore the app doesn’t get info. Not something to blame on Nufit (out of its control). However, it would behoove Nufit to write a simple instruction manual and post on its website, with photos, circled in red items and explanations of how to do various simple things, how to get where, how to edit boo boos, how to search for a food. The app just is not very intuitive to use and I’ve worked with computers and new programs for years intuitively. It was a mystery how to get to where to merely input the food to search for. This app is a mystery with no instruction manual, so NUFIT, PLEASE (with sugar on it) put together an instruction manual ON your website and leave a website addy here. I’ll be happy to read & suggest edits. I bet you’ll get some great reviews on this app then. It seems like it is a very helpful & excellent app but the learning curve is frustrating via experimenting.

Don’t Waste Your Time On This App

First, this app does work with the Arboleaf food scale. No real complaints about that function. My issue is using this app to track your eating. Almost all the foods I searched by UPC/Barcode were not found. Foods I searched in the database by description almost always had incorrect nutritional information. Because of this my only option was to enter all my food manually and save to My Favorites. This was a bit annoying, but once entered, I could just recall the next time I ate that food. The first thing I don’t like about My Favorites is the items are displayed in chronological order. It would be nice to list in alphabetical order. Once I had over 20 items I could no longer find the first items I entered. Basically, I found a bug in the My Favorites display. You can only see the last 20 entries, then it repeats entries 11-20 indefinitely. I emailed the details to the developers and never got a response. Crap app, crap support. Save yourself hours of frustration and wasted time. Use a different app.

Useless as I can’t login

This app is pretty much pointless as it cannot login or create an account because it says it’s unable to connect to the network while all other apps can connect just fine. I suspect this is an old app that has not been updated to use iOS’s latest security concepts correctly…

Horrible app

Can’t imagine how this app could possibly have such reviews. It has lots of problems. Little information about food, when you create your own foods it keeps erasing them. you can’t change your targets, and a tbousand more problems.

Excellent!!

Very easy to use app. Helps keep me on track.    ‌

Help with weight management‍ ‌‍  ‌

Easy to track your progress. Most things are able to be found by scanning the barcode. Made keto a breeze!‍

Can’t even get started!

Can’t get past the “choose your living region”

No list to choose from, tried every version of US I could think of, and my state, but screen shows no matching country found.

No scanning option

I don’t have a option to scan the barcode. Can someone help me how to get it ?

No scanner & won’t sync with Apple health

Won’t connect to Apple health and doesn’t have a scanner. This was the ONLY reason I purchased this food scale. I wanted to be able to make meals and be able to scan foods into it to have a better macro calculation. Very dissapointed. Please fix these issues with the app!!

Response from developer

Hi, you can use the Nufit app. Because of the Foodiet app, we restrict the use of this feature in some countries. Apple Health will pop up the authorization option when it first adds food

Bar code scanning

I bought this item specifically for the ability to weigh food and match to nutrition information obtained via bar code scanner. I’m disappointed that the app is not allowing it, even though the product description as well as the operating instructions included with the scale mention it.
