Love the app

Love the app, but just recently it’s been broken. It crashes on the payment window following latest update. Hope it fixes soon

App crashes

So I tried to place an order at this cafe, they have 11 almond croissants left. I wanted to get 3. And when I was about to place the order, the app crashed. The number of croissants decreased by 3. I tried it again and placed 2 but it crashed again the number of croissants decreased. I tried again until all croissants got sold out. Not sure if there are many people who were placing an order causing the crash but I tried with other products but no use. I can’t place an order. 😭

Bohemian Bakery

Easy app to use and quality sour dough purchased. Very happy customer.

Great concept

Been using this for a few months now, works really well, no problems so far.

4.5 star App, 5 star Concept & Support

It just works. Excellence depends on which traders list their items. I’m pleased for them when they don’t list as they sell product and can pay the rent. On the other hand, 5 Choc Fudge Brownies for the price of one? Frozen (NZ) meat and Bakery Goods for half price?

Limitation’s appear to be:
a) A quite small geofence. It should be at least 10-15km. Not the current (guesstimated) 5km? I get a notification from a favourite but can’t see it as I’m 9km or so away. Also be more useful as most towns and cities (and even some suburbs) bigger than that. Loss of half a star for that.

b) Appears to only allow 5 favourites. I’d prefer more.

c) (sort of…) Traders actually listing products on here. NOT an issue with the App, but maybe a trader mindset change needed?

Example - my local organic shop advertised on FB but not in this App, despite being a member. I was right next door at the bakery picking up my an order. Really?

Another with a display of dated products by counter. I was purchasing other items. Would’ve bought if I’d known. Didn’t on principle.

I had a dealing with support and that was excellent. A trader had erred on quantity. Foodprint refunded difference immediately and followed up. Trader is now a favourite and sells NZ ethically grown meat.

I’ve recommended the App to many people now. Whether for the cheap ’treats’ or yesterday’s essentials, it fits my ethos perfectly.

I’ve noticed a review concerned with location. Yes, it needs to be on. But it’s not being amortised and tracked by FB or the ilk. Unless you sign in with that third party obviously. Use your email.
