Terrible update
This update is terrible. Being back the old circular on the app and website. Whoever thought this change was a good idea didn’t bother to ask those of us who actually use it.
I want to see the actual circular, not the way it’s set up now.

Can’t login after update
Great that Foodtown redesigned their website and app. However I haven’t been able to login to my account since the update. I sent a support email and no response.
Updates are terrible
Not sure what they did but both the app and website are unusable. Can’t login to old account points are missing and I can’t clip coupons. The app won’t let me get last the how to I want to shop screen since they don’t have an option to shop in store since delivery is not available to my location.
Issue with email
I recently tried to create an account and when I tried to get my activation code via email it said that it wasn’t available. I tried again and apparently it’s an internal issue.

Navigating through the products is a challenge
Coupons don’t load
I only use this app when there are coupons available. However, the coupons don’t always load to my card and so they don’t get applied at check out.
Can’t log in even with resets
This app has really been bugging the heck out of me. I can’t reset my password I’ve tried countless of times and it won’t let me login with my new password and I can’t save on the digital coupons.
Slow
I have a fast wi-fi connection, and this app is just too slow. They are trying to use digital coupons the way Shop-Rite does, but it took so long to load the coupons that I abandoned it. Shop-Rite app was very fast.
Limited pick up options very disappointing
Any time I attempt to do a pick up order the options for pick up are only for 2-3 days later, making it very inconvenient for me. Otherwise I am very happy with the app.

App is EXTREMELY SLOW clipping coupons
Can’t shop from specific store
Placed a big order from what I thought was my neighborhood store. Got a call saying practically every item I ordered wasn’t in stock. When I asked why, I was told that the app allows you to purchase items from ALL Foodtown locations, even though the store actually fulfilling the order might not have them. Totally useless

Be aware
I installed the app, signed up, created an account, only to discover that my local FoodTown isn’t a part of this app-chain, now I’m signed up to a Brooklyn foodtown. I left Brooklyn in 1978. I couldn’t delete my account. Luckily I used a bogus identity - name, phone#, age, address, etc; the e-mail used is my trash email that gets all my retail ‘gotta add ur email for any use’. I ‘control A - delete’ just about daily without looking at any content

App not working
Couldn’t sign in kept getting error message had to create new acct ONLY because I’m home sick! Won’t shop here again
Foodtown Red Bank
Everyone at the store is wonderful! I’ve never had a problem and if I did they resolved it quickly. John one of the managers is friendly and helpful and the employees who have been there for a long time are great. Happy to be a customer.
cannot clip coupons
I no longer can clip coupons. Everytime I try to clip it, it fails. I’ve tried removing the app and reloading it, still not working
Needs phone wallet support
Convenient app to manage groceries and save $. What I would like to see is phone wallet support. Currently I have to hand over club card exposing both me and teller to potential Covid-19. I would like this to change, many companies have this feature for eWallet example in my case Apple wallet much more convenient and safer.
