Heaps of freezes and glitches
This app was great at the start the last week every time I get notification I go to the app won’t load says I’m offline have tried deleting app re installing same issues fix ya bugs pls
Used to be great, now it doesn’t work.
What has happened to this app, it doesn’t load any of the screens! I get a notification there’s something available and it just spins and spins and never loads up. I’ve had the app from the beginning and purchased many foody bags but now it’s absolutely unusable. I’ve deleted it and reinstalled and it has made no difference. I’m on iPhone 16+ with the latest iOS.

Quality Food
So far the 4 places I’ve been to have provided quality food, and good service, even if its at closing and clerance prices. Very impressed
Don’t bother
Absolutely no activity worldwide. Have had this app for weeks and one cafe listed in Melbourne which is perpetually sold out. Nothing else worldwide. Not sure of the history but it certainly has no purpose whatsoever now.
Great but need more on board!!
Would be great if more companies could get on board! There is so much food wastage and I’m sure if companies we reapproached they may get on board. There is a world crisis financially and environmentally and we can’t afford waste. So a drive to get more companies on board would be great!!

No nearby locations
I have had this app installed for over 4 months now, but still no nearby locations within 40km of me. I’m sure it’s a good app, and I’m sure it helps with food wastage, but it’s just another app that is only for people who live in major cities I guess. They need to do more to get business to sign up.

Frustrating
Every single time a pop up shows something is available my order gets cancelled when Apple Pay is processing. Why can’t there be a countdown in the check out of even 30 second for you to finalise payment. Instead it seems to rip role order away cause someone is faster. I’ve have this app for weeks now with absolutely no success. Really want to just uninstall.

Good platform which avoids food waste
Foody app works on a pre-purchase basis and pickup from the food partners is easy too. Just produce your email with the QR code and the partner scans it. However it needs more critical mass in the number of food partners as the majority are inactive. Continued engagement with partners after the initial sign up is needed perhaps. Overall, great idea, keep building on it!

Really great way for business to make something out of left over stock, while promoting their products.

Functional, useful but not enough vendor variety
Even in Perth, which seems to have the most vendors on board this app of any Australian city, it seems a majority of the vendors signed on don’t ever seem to use the app after the first week or two, or use it once a week at most. The items available are constantly dominated by a single chain bakery which is off-putting. Happy to set favourites for the few offerings I'm interested in but could be so much better.

Unable to sign in and no support
The app will not let me sign in and there are no links to get support. Please advise how to fix error code 403.

Frustrating that this isn’t available in Sydney in Australia’s biggest city, which is also the city where people need this app the most.

I get notifications for food stores that interest me. As soon as I open the app I make my purchase and pick up at collection time. It’s so simple.
Great concept, not greatly executed…
I love the idea of this app, saving food from going to landfill whilst filling bellies and at a third of the price, amazing! However, opening the app for the first time to find that not a single venue within 100km is offering anything isn’t a great first impression. I think the devs and/or the marketing team needs to step up a bit more to make this happen in more places, Adelaide perhaps?

Amazing concept, fantastic results

I’ve been a member of Foody bag since it’s infancy but just drooled over the food and marvelled at it’s concept. I bit the bullet and purchased for the first time. I was worried I would be disappointed but, my expectations were exceeded 10x over. 100% converted and you have my heart (and wallet). Saving food from landfill while filling bellies with quality food that is more often than not, out of my budget.
