Thank you!

This has been such a great resource. Would love to see it updated with new feet that are available such as the bilevel feet.

Save your money

You would think once you “favorite” your sewing machine that the app would be able to identify what feet are compatible with it…. Wrong! It lists ALL feet options so unless you manually add and research compatible feet the app is useless. Save your money.

FAQ

What does the FootBook app do?

FootBook is a reference application that provides detailed information on over 100 different presser feet and accessories for Janome sewing machines. It includes photos, text descriptions, usage instructions, and demonstration videos for each item.

What Janome sewing machines is this app compatible with?

This app is designed for Janome machines with a 7mm or 9mm stitch width and a top-load, drop-in bobbin. It may also work with Kenmore, New Home, or Elna machines made by Janome that have a top-loading bobbin and are computerized.

Is this app free to use?

Yes, the FootBook app is free to use. It does not have any in-app purchases or advertisements, making it a completely free resource for Janome sewing machine users.

What kind of information is provided for each presser foot?

For each presser foot or accessory, the app offers a clear photo, a text description explaining what it is, instructions on how to use it, and a high-resolution video demonstrating its application.

What if my Janome machine has a different bobbin system?

If your Janome machine requires bobbins to be inserted into a case behind a door in the front of the machine, then this app is not compatible with your machine. The app specifically targets machines with a top-load, drop-in bobbin system.
