New design a big improvement
New design and layout is a big improvement over past versions and my ID card scans much easier than it did previously.

Even though I have this app installed on my phone, it requires 2-step verification every time I access my ID. In order to remember me, the app needs me to enable cookies. But these cookies only work for desktops. Ergo, every time I enter campus, I have to linger outside while I wait for my app to boot up and for me to log in and 2-step verify my identity. If you’re in an area with poor reception, good luck. The app also logs me out at random, meaning that I have to go through the whole process multiple times a day. Surely there are more sophisticated security measures in 2023…

Terrible App
No functionalities, not user friendly. Definitely outdated!
Terrible ID system
The ID requires you to constantly sign back in. And it still fails to read. Why does the wallet app open when you scan? Why not just make an ID that stays in the wallet app like everyone else in the world? Fordham system doesn’t work with iPhone cookies. It always states you need to enable cookies even though cookies are enabled. I’m assuming this is why the ID always requires you to sign in. You see a back log at university entrances bc people struggle to get the ID to scan creating a traffic jam behind them. Security guards just sit there bc they’re so used to it and instead of reporting this as an issue they prefer to tell customers to move over and let other people through and continue to watch many just struggle and get frustrated. Trash app.
