Love it!

A fun adventure

This app firstly is a lot of fun, secondly the interface guides you through clearly, and thirdly works well with VoiceOver. The only things which need labeling properly are the inventory screen, and attribute buttons, both don’t speak when you swipe to them with the Voiceover screen reader.

1 único e pequeno probleminha

Eu achei o jogo em bem legal mais seria muito bom se tivesse em outras línguas entendo um pouco inglês mais complica em muitos momentos por não ser 100% fluente agradeceria muito se adicionassem isso

Great potential. Could be better

The concept is really interesting and the layout and gameplay are better than most choose your own adventures on iOS. But there are a few issues. 1) the dice is weird. It took me a chapter and a half to realize that 43% success was if I rolled a 43 or lower I succeeded. I would explain that to players on the first dice roll. 2) it’s really disheartening when you fail so many dice rolls in a row. I get that the success rate is low because you need to get your stats better, but you also have to keep people engaged in the first couple of chapters and if they keep failing dice rolls and they feel like they’re missing out on the story they’re not going to want to continue playing. 3) I get that you want to make money off the game and I don’t fault you for that but saying that “this is the last free chapter” does not make me want to continue playing as a free player. Especially since the first chapter was so short. Most games don’t let you know that the following chapters are priced until you get there. Also I think there should be options for free players like watching ads. You would get more money from ads then you would by people not playing because it’s not free. But it is a good game. Interesting story and has great potential

D20/not a D20? Confusing…

The dice rolls are SUPER annoying. I have no idea what dice I’m rolling, but I’ve had results as high as 92- on something that looks like a D20? How can the same check fail on an 88 & 92, but succeed on a 42? Is it the opposite of D&D, and we’re trying to roll low instead of high? If the numbers on the dice are a combination of the number rolled with modifiers added, than DON’T. Just use the (presumably?) D20 like a D20 and show me what I rolled- a number between 1 & 20. It doesn’t need to be complicated, but if you do want to complicate it, at least add an explanation. As it is now, I have no idea what I’m trying to roll for, and it ruins the game.

Great really enjoying it!

I have been playing this game for a few hours now and I have enjoyed every second of it. I’ve always loved RPGs and after getting into tabletop versions I thought I might try a text based one. PLAY THIS GAME it’s not to easy not to hard and just fab!

I enjoyed it a lot

Fun but money requires to unlock the rest so 4

First play-through thoughts

I genuinely loved my first play-through and before I start my second, I wanted to leave a review. I gladly paid the 2.99 to continue as an appreciation to the two who made the game (and because I was attached to the story). Only reason I left 4 stars and not 5 was the spelling errors, which were few and far between, but distracting for me.

Didnt fix character select bug

Good story, but feels rigged

The stories are cool, but for the dice rolls something is off. No matter how high your chances are 8/10 times you will lose. The more Important the choice is the more likely you lose. That's my experience so far. That's my only complaint.

Buena idea!

Muy recomendable pasatiempos. Un juego ligero y divertido a la vez. Mucho mejor que estar con los juegos convencionales

Characters seem to not recognize the brutal reality

I think this is a great game concept and I hope for more content like this as I love story developing games controlled by your decisions and love the unknown factor play from the dice. HOWEVER, considering what happens to the characters early on in the story, there’s constantly times where they’re laughing and smiling and having the time of their lives when it makes no total sense for them to consider all the losses had and the severity of their journey and everything going on around them. It takes away from any seriousness that the characters realistically probably would have. Yes laughter and humor along with lighthearted can help lighten the mood people often face, but the backstory of this whole journey seems almost forgotten or like the characters were not phased. Besides that, love the game mechanics. Also, if grammar is important to you and somewhat occasional grammar mistakes mess with you, this may not be the game for you.

Unplayable

No way to advance past the character selection screens. No button to continue, all u can do is horz scroll between the chars and you can’t even read their full infos as there isn’t a vert scroll either.
Pitty. It’s silly bugs like this that make people frown at indie games and turn to the big sharks… real shame.

Good

I want to give some constructive feedback because I feel this game has potential but it needs work.
Firstly please proof read your writing, some of the spelling is wrong and some of the grammar is bad. Nothing worse than having to figure out what a word is because it’s spelt wrong.
Second there is far too much writing. I know it’s meant to be a story driven game, but no one wants to read pages of text. Just some understanding to get to the next area.
Third the stats, having 1 stat point for each stat type is so long winded. You will inevitably lose in certain sections because the stats don’t add up and it just becomes frustrating. It needs to be more straightforward and user friendly.
Finally the choices. Why is there a choice to go (left or right). There’s a section where you’re told left left right or something and in that situation it’s fine because it’s a memory short game. However having pointless choices such as left or right or up or down really doesn’t provide much of an experience for the player. Give them an informed option (such as in delight games), where they can make a life or death decision but they’re actually intuitive not just directional.

2nd Impressions

Too contrived and boring story line. And the 60% failure rate to start off is lame, to force difficulty. Moving on.

On iPhone 12 the swipe up bar is 100% persistent making real difficult to choose Select at the bottom of the screen. I had to use a stylus to select Select. That you for the font size adjust! (You other developers take note please.) And the white font/black background for maximum clarity (again, developers take note please). Not everybody has correctable to 20/20 vision! We tend to forget that not everyone is like you (me). Very few developers consider these facts. More later. Dungeon diving.

Can’t even pick a background

Was hoping to play but can’t even get past the first part of starting it cuz the button to start doesn’t even show up nice real nice

I failed every check

I played for 2 hours and failed every check, even a 96 was a fail, worst rpg I’ve ever played by far.

Great game but bad grammar

I really enjoy this game. I don’t mind paying the $3 to unlock the rest of the chapters but the grammar and spelling are atrocious. Makes it hard to fully understand everything at some points in the game. Also while the game boasts being a choose your own adventure style game it follows one linear path and the choices mainly are just for little side events. It still makes for a great game with a lot of replayability. The characters are interesting and the story flows nicely.

I love this concept

I haven’t played through the last few chapters yet but I think the few bucks is worth it. I’m just worried the developers won’t continue the game. Since their last update was 4 months ago. Regardless, I love the way it plays. A choose your own adventure with consequences and skills that directly correlate to likelihood choices. It’s very simple sure, but I honestly want more of it. I hope they continue with new stories and even more possibilities to explore. It may not be for everyone, but I suggest people at least try the first two chapters.

Good Adventure

Really enjoyable adventure but the editing gets a little sloppy after chapter two.
Good content. Tempted to run this adventure for my D&D table
