No

The map on this app is worthless. I downloaded the other unofficial Zoom app and it was much better.

New and improved!

The new updates to this app are great, map is easy to use and you can now log in with your membership ID

New and improved!

This is such a great app! Totally refreshed in 2025 with lots of improvements. Love the scavenger hunts for everyone, live map and that I can store my member cards.

Fantastic App!

Love the relaunch so happy with the new features!

New & Improved

The NEW app is phenomenal! The map is great, membership info is easy to use/scan & the bonus perks for members are so fun!

Download the Other ZOO APP

The Fort Worth zoo just released this brand new app and the map still is horrendous. It is too cumbersome to use doesn’t show you where you are and doesn’t give you any good details. There is another app out there that is 10 times better that is specifically for the zoo and has the map and all the points of interest including bathrooms, food, and exhibits I highly recommend the other app.

Membership

If there is a great app why can’t we log into our membership from the app ?

Not bad, but why not add to the encounter times to the app?

That’s all I want is to tell me 15 minutes prior to when an encounter will take place, but this app is pretty much just the paper map in digital form.

Mobile Wallet

This app has been helpful.

Also, I have a fairly general “Zoo” idea.. It would be awesome if we could add our membership card (info and barcode) to the Apple Wallet for more convenient access. 😁

Bad app

It needs an interactive map not a very good app. Needs a lot of work.

Needs major update

No Gps enabled map 😔 that will be a great addition

Bad

The app was difficult 😥. I didn’t use it . The app should follow you on the zoo map. And the zoo! There was no animals. we saw about 15 animals no elephant not many birds 🦢. And we were there for about three hours!I enjoyed the sting rays but they only gave you 1 fish for two dollars for the sting rays to eat! And the lettuce 🥬 was six dollars 💵! For the giraffes 🦒.the giraffes were fun. And the food was good. I wouldn't recommend going.

If I login my account...

If I log into my account I should be able to see and use my tickets from my app.
Really need some updates.
Maybe be able to see restaurants, menus and be able to pay by the app.

Kinda useless

I was hoping that I could reach my account and view tickets and such. But nope. Most things are just links that open in a browser. Which defeats the purpose of a native app.

Difficult

App appears user friendly but is extremely difficult to navigate and find answers to issues.
Any normal questions are easy thoughts

Bugs and Crashes

Zoom to location? Crash. Zoom out? Go to far and show gridlines instead of stopping you from zooming out to far. Viewing map? Can’t click on exhibits to see what they are.

No Map

It’s 2020 I’ve seen reviews on this going back a few years. The entire map will not load or it crashes. Please fix this.

What’s the benefit of a map if it crashes?

Downloaded the app after seeing a note on the website. I figured it would enhance our experience while at the zoo. After exploring the features ahead of time the only purposeful use case for the app would be to access the map and the pinned insights on the animals. Unfortunately, the map is worthless since multiple attempts to use it causes the app to crash each time. The additional insights are the exact same information from the website. No self guided tour, videos, or anything inherent to an enhance (digital) experience. Stick with a paper map and use their website if you’re looking for additional animal insights. It’s sad to see money was spent and Spark Creative didn’t deliver any benefits to the visitor’s experience.

The app is great, but it keeps crashing,it won’t load anything!

What a handy thing to have

This app while to some may seem pointless I found incredibly helpful when my kids stole and promptly lost the paper map (like every single time we’ve ever gone to any zoo) and decided they NEEDED to see certain animals. I loved the you are here dot on the zoo map it took a lot of the guess work out of everything. All and all I think it’s brilliant. If the developers are reading this perhaps the only way to make this even more handy would be gps style turn by turn directions to things like the nearest bathroom or popular exhibits.
