Useless

Unsure what is being accomplished here. But the app keeps telling me it can’t fetch current data. Does not show half my firewalls and to say it can manage your firewalls is a joke. Skip this app. Beyond useless…

What is this?

It doesn’t let me do anything

No port info on the dashboard

When you open the legacy FortiExplorer, there are a lot of info shown without additional remote login, such as each port’s IP configurations. Now I don’t see this in the new FEGO.

App setup

This app is for setting up new devices all the time. Tried to use the the dashboard to login to a router and it would not let me use bitwarden to inject the password. The password is over 35 characters. Sure a pain to type every time on your phone. The VPN feature is gone and not in this app any more. Push notifications do not even come to this app even if you set them up correctly.

Can’t Paste A Copied Password

See title for chief complaint. Literally a non-starter.

Notifications

It doesn’t seem to support notifications like the old app.

Response from developer

Thank you for your feedback. The latest version of FortiExplorerGo does support push notifications, primarily for critical security events and FortiCare ticket updates, similar to the previous app. Please ensure you're using the latest version and have enabled notifications in your iOS settings. If you need assistance, feel free to reach out to our support team through the Help & Support section in the FortiExplorerGo app.
