Still an absolutely dreadful app, cannot connect to cameras reliably so you may as well stay home and guard it!! They intentionally do not fix the SD card option to force you to buy cloud services. Good cameras, unusable software.

Foscam has a horrible app and cameras. I’ve had several of their cameras for many years and they haven’t got any better. Avoid them and go with cameras that are actually useful and reliable.

Nothing like thinking someone has broken into your house at 4am, but instead of being able to check your cameras, you have to watch multiple ads for candy crush before you can actually access them!!!

Was barely usable before Ver 5 released. 2 stars then, now 1 star is generous. User gets lost with all the moving of settings and operation, features missing, multiple screens to perform steps that used to be one click, just pitiful to have decent quality cameras but such a poor app.

Software is garbage, cameras are decent
Software takes 10 seconds to load and “encrypt the stream”, which is about 10 longer than my other two brands. The software is entirely geared toward making you buy a cloud subscription, which you don’t need, but native utility is buried, making it hard to use.
No connection
App loses connection all the time. Very unreliable.

Please get rid or make a setting to get rid of the “new” red notification for the AI feature. It’s very annoying, I didn’t update to get it, And I don’t want it. You continue to think you’re inventing sliced bread again, but this app continues its downward trend.
UNRELIABLE
Since the last update the app is showing two of our three cameras as off when they are all on. They were working perfectly before the update. I’ve followed all the instructions to reconnect and nothing works.
Failure to launch
I was just required to update my Foscam app to proceed. Now it will not launch unless you launch it repeatedly ten to twenty times. Then it closes after a minute or two.
The net can only say, restart, uninstall, clear cache, delete, reinstall, turn phone off/on, etc. None of that garbage fixes anything.

V5.3.20
I would love to go back up to v5.3.1 ………. Because v5.3.20 is not good with the iPhone iOS 26. Can’t connect to some of my “Foscam” cameras and ‘messages’ no longer work as they did in previous versions. No These cameras will be the last Foscam products I buy if Foscam can’t keep up with changing iOS updates. Connectivity issues are unacceptable!!!

Funktioniert soweit gut
Allerdings nervt der ewige Hinweis, dass ich kein Abo abgeschlossen habe sehr. Auch, dass Funktionen dann gesperrt sind, die kein Abo benötigen, wie z.B. die kurze Videosequenz bei der Personenerkennung. Die kann man auch auf der Speicherkarte in der Kamera ablegen. Kundenfreundlich ist das nicht.

Horrible Upgrade
You can no longer select and delete messages. These will buildup and eat away massive amounts of space on your iPhone. What were they thinking??? Final nail in the coffin. Ending both subscriptions.
Foscam getting worse
Their app is getting worse by the day, using an iPad you have to keeping trying until it goes through some kind of reloading cycle to view the cameras. Reolink is starting to look better by the day.
connection issues
I have 2 cameras and now one of them keeps showing "offline" this app has never been good enough for watching my cats while away from my home. FIX this app for once!
