Free book summaries
I stumbled upon Fountain and was pleased to find that they have book summaries there to choose from. There are some titles on Autism, some self-help that are cognitive behavioral, and other topics. Easily written about 8th grade level not highly technical but would likely serve for introductory presentations. Good for Jr. High to High School students but also for adults who need basic knowledge of a given topic. Enjoyable choices and relaxed delivery.

I don’t know how I found this app… I pray I am not paying for it because I am broke, but it is awesome! I may be able to afford it if I follow all this advice !

Predatory billing practices
I still have not been able to unsubscribe. It has been months. You can’t call and messaging them has had no answer for many people. I keep getting charged monthly. I cannot see them pop up on my app subscriptions in my phone and on the website there is no option to unsubscribe. You can cancel your account, but that will continue charging. I followed all the instructions online and still cannot unsubscribe.

Good, but too fast
I am very much enjoying the variety of topics and subject matter, but at the same time, the speed at which the narration is presented is actually stress-inducing and seems very pressured to me. I do understand that it is maximum learning in minimal time but listening to the fast pace is difficult. Perhaps an option to slow the speed of narration could be considered.

I love reading/learning but I’m short on time so these are perfect for a coffee break, plus it’s the ultimate try before you buy!
Where are the features?
I’m genuinely confused by the lack of features in this app. I enjoy the book summaries. The concept is great, but especially compared to the Fabulous habits/routine app, it seems super undeveloped. There’s no quiz at the beginning to create an “algorithm” of content you’ll find interesting. No way to bookmark books you’re interested in. No record of which summaries you’ve read/listened to or even how far you’ve gotten in the one you’re working on. Even the “dopamine detox” and blocking of distracting apps that’s advertised doesn’t seem to exist within the app. What’s up with that? Am I missing something? Is there a way I’m supposed to sign in or link to Fabulous to be able to access features? This app could definitely use further development because the concept is great, and it fits well with Fabulous’s mission.

This app is truly delightful and useful all at once. Easy to use. Appealing GUI. Title selections are excellent even if limited offerings— I sure they will expand as time goes on and is more than enough for one person to start out with expanding their knowledge base

Scam type operation
They hit you with a ton of upsells and multiple subscriptions when you sign up but then they don’t show up in your Apple subscriptions. Somehow they must hit your credit card and then I am guessing they show up in Apple. Anyway I would steer clear of this one.
