I subscribed for World Cup streaming, but it comes with Fox News, which is a hideous pile of falsehoods. Would subscribe again for the sports if it could be separated from the insane propaganda.
Won’t work w Apple TV or c cellular
This is a really nasty app and the people behind it are even last year. I cannot get it to work and they would not give me a refund. The speakers will not do AirPlay. It’s all correctly, but the other apps work just fine. These guys need to get their agreed and check or someone’s gonna find them.

Got this to watch World Cup and this might be one of the worst apps I’ve ever used. Navigation horrible, search awful, games usually don’t stream… good lord - do better.

You would think a company offering a paid subscription service that allows re-broadcasts would know not make impossible to avoid spoilers before you watch a match. You would be mistaken to think Fox had that much basic sense. Catching up on World Cup matched that aired during work has been infuriating because of this.

On a smart tv…
…this app is terrible. Slow loading, very slow, its actually slower than Paramount plus on a smart tv. I downloaded it to watch the World Cup, but I’m deleting it after the final.

Terrible. Insists on spoiling world cups games that happen while Im working. No don’t show next game in a tournament when that is the only path to the replays. Just terrible. Also Fox supports fascism.
disappointing
I turned off notifications for the live match, yet repeatedly showed me the score anyway! App shows match ‘starting’ for hours after the match ended - engineers - fix your broken code people are actually using this.

I wish I could write multiple 1 star reviews for each individual despicable experience I have on this god forsaken app. Thank the lord I only have to have it on my phone for 4 more days then I can delete it forever and my life will get significantly better.

World Cup commentary
FOX One’s football coverage is badly undermined by the commentary. The announcers are loud, over-explain obvious parts of the game, and seem incapable of letting a moment breathe. It feels more like a constant sales pitch than a serious football broadcast.
For viewers used to British or international coverage, the tone is grating and distracting. Give users alternate commentary options, a stadium-sound feed, or access to a more restrained broadcast team. The match should be the focus—not the commentators.

Won’t be subscribing again
I only subscribed to FOX One for one month to watch the World Cup and canceled my subscription before it could renew. I still had about three days left on my paid subscription, but while I was watching games, a large ad kept popping up asking me to renew. It interrupted what I was watching and forced me to open the link, close it, and reopen the app just to continue watching. It was incredibly frustrating, especially since I had already paid for the service and my subscription hadn’t expired yet.
Because of that experience, I won’t be subscribing again and can’t recommend this app.

This app is awful. Unstable will pause. When I cast to my TV the quality is awful. I just remind myself that in the 90s this is how the video quality was to soothe myself. When I play a game and pause later I can’t go back to the replay. What kind of sorry excuse is this for an app. Also in game stats right next to the replay?! We watch the replay because we want to watch the game —not have it spoiled for us. This app is amateur hour

Streaming Poor Quality
Worst app in the world. I signed up for FIFA. Streaming in the US was laggy. I had to close and open the app constantly on a new iPad pro. I have great bandwidth with no issues watching HBO, Netflix, and YouTube. I tried watching while traveling on my phone. The app showed content for a split second, then put up an error page saying that my location isn’t supported. I paid for the app; it’s streaming. What do you mean by not supported? Complete nonsense! I can install a VPN and be in a location that’s supported. What a waste of time. As soon as FIFA is over, I’m canceling my subscription and never coming back. What a money grab! I will never support this brand. I’ll find a way to watch Zlatan and company on YouTube a day or so removed. Goodbye money hungry Fox bureaucrats and the engineers who boy down in compliancy.

A major reason to pay for this service is to see replays of games when you can’t watch live. Unfortunately this ap buries the full replay under dozens of highlights showing the final score.
This ruins the enjoyment of watching the game if you already know exactly how it ends.
It’s so disappointing to be excited to watch a game only to have it ruined by spoilers showing the final result before you even start.
