Excellent when traveling too
I love using the Fox5 app when I’m traveling so I can keep up with the local news and watch the morning gang
Too Many advertisements
Advertisements are annoying. Greed, raw unabashed greed, is more annoying. This station, this app,is contaminated with greed. So I deleted it. Won’t be back.
Stop the auto play on the videos
Don’t like how the ads on videos autoplay when I open a story. Too many times I’ve been in a quiet room trying to discreetly read the news article yet a loud video pops off automatically. I should have to select the video option for the ad to start playing.
ADS FOR DAYS!
I usually only use this app for notifications. You absolutely don’t want to click on any stories! You will be suffocated by advertisements! This is one of the most lame apps I’ve ever used.

Every time I open a story it starts a video that is loud. Why do we have to listen to that when we simply want to read a news story?
Don’t Waste Your Time
I have had this App for a couple of years, and every time I open it, I’m hoping it’s been improved. Nope, it’s never happened. Today, I’m deleting this app because I’m tired of dealing with the bugs and other issues. When trying to fill out a form, it jumps to another page and deletes everything. When you click a news story, the weather comes up, an advertisement appears, and a different story plays. This is after 4-5 minutes! Stick a fork in me, I’m done! Bye!

Not worth even downloading
At first it worked, now you can’t even submit an issue. Not worth downloading, so aggravating! The actual app won’t even let you rate it have to go to the App Store find it and then submit. What’s the point of having it if it doesn’t work and you don’t care? Just useless!

Live stream
Since past updates,can only watch the
Live stream on my iPad vertically. Used to be able to watch it vertically or horizontally. Can we get back to watching it either way.

Review of the app
Your app is good, but how do we get rid of all the ads! We don’t need to see all the legal firms out there.
Sharing
I use to be able to share articles and not be concerned which direction I held my screen. At the least, let us share articles.

Unable to watch daily live news like before. Also, cannot remove closed captioning individual live stories that do play.
Ads are out of control
The ads are out of control. There is no true settings, so stopping auto play of videos isn’t an option. Stories are so abridged you don’t get any true information. The old app was so much better.
Noisy ads
They have started doing videos with music and dialogue while opening the app - you can not stop it and this is unnecessary and annoying

Advertisement issue
Every time I open the app and I want to read the story advertisements play automatically with sound
There’s nowhere to shut it off or mute it unless you press on it so if you’re in a location, that’s quiet and you want to read a news story it’s basically impossible since the ad will start blurting out loud immediately when you click on the story - there you should have a place in your menu to mute that unless you want to hear it it’s extremely annoying

ADS!
Why is there so many ads? I just want to read the news articles. This app is horrible. Is there a paid version?

The app is okay but the ads are OBNOXIOUS and have gotten worse recently. So many every time you click something. The live broadcasts have more ads than news

This app is buggy and seems like fox5 would rather promote bogus ads a misleading articles at the bottom of every story. It’s unfortunate because this app started out great before the greed of advertisement dollars overtook the news feeds.

Horrible App
Another bad app that won’t let you listen to music and read their articles. Pop ups commandeer audio so you can’t do both. When will these developers ever learn?
Sound
The new update immediately plays videos upon entering the app. There is no setting to mute or no sound upon entering app. I like to read articles and don’t necessarily want to watch the videos attached. I will be removing this app as I can get the same stories on News 8 app and it has not highjacked my ability to control videos from immediately playing.
