FoxCloud2.0 and firmware for Pro series inverters
Updated both a few days ago for a few Pro series inverters. Looks like the updates created more bugs than fixes. Inverters constantly discharges batteries between 250-900W to the grids when it supposed to charge those batteries. Inverter imports from grids for house loads demand even though batteries are 50-100% SOC. Development teams please look into this issues urgently. Please design and create app that users give you valuable feedback for areas that needs improvement/changes. Like showing actual kWh used to charge the battery stack on the front Home Screen.

EV charger scheduling bugs
FoxSwitch and FoxCloud 2.0 show different times for the same EV charging schedule due to a timezone bug. This makes scheduled charging unreliable and is especially problematic with off-peak tariffs.
FoxESS needs to fix the timezone sync between the two apps and make charger schedules consistent.

Latest update has broken my system
System updated a week ago. Lost connection with ev charger. State that is is offline despite when reconnecting and saying it was connected but status says otherwise. Tried to reboot entire system to make sure firmware was embedded ok. Not the data logger is now stating it is off line. Despite getting all the live data for the house and pv panels. On top off all this the vpp controls have stopped updating and now are stuck on the same daily cycle and do not update to the data. To make this worse the morning cycle is stuck on a force charge, which is costing money when it would normally charges on solar.

Could be good but …..
I logged a ticket ages ago that you need to accept the terms and conditions every time you sign into the app, if you don’t accept everything it forces you and prompts you again
This is a VERY simple fix yet they don’t resolve it. No other app forces me to continuously accept their T&Cs so it’s not a legal requirement in my country
Other fixes have taken a long time, yes it’s gotten better but they honestly need to lift their game for existing owners
It’s hard to recommend Fox to others when software is critical to products and if the experience is bad the price being cheaper isn’t worth it

AI nobody asked for and offers no value
Someone at Fox has heard about AI and thought you better stick a permanent button in the way, on my home screen even though it offers zero value to customers.
Remove that stupid fox icon from my screen.

Recent upgrade destroyed app
For me, I liked to see how each panel array was doing. Prior to the latest update, it was easy to check the generation. After the update, it becomes much harder to go into detailed parameters. It also doesn’t get updated for ages. The app used to be fine before. Please revert it back to where only 3 clicks were needed to check detailed parameters which was also updated more frequently.

Mittlerweile sehr genervt
Nutze die App und das Balkonkraftwerk seit März 2026. Die App nervt mittlerweile nur noch. Es gibt sehr viele Updates mit Änderungen. Ständig funktionieren Einstellungen nicht und man muss den Support anschreiben. Der ist zwar hilfsbereit und freundlich, aber ganz ehrlich…. Das ist ein Balkonkraftwerk. Das Ding soll einfach funktionieren! Ich will nicht jeden Tag mit der App rumspielen! Ich würde den Avocado Pro mit dieser App nicht nochmal kaufen!

App updated and doesn’t work on my iPad which is used as home control system :-(. App keeps crashing, been rebooted, reinstalled etc.
Would be great if it worked consistently
The app looks nice and functions well, when it works. I'm getting constant "Plant does not exist or was not created by this account" errors when trying to access any page. Refreshing a few times appears to fix it, so it doesn't actually seem like a permission error. Please resolve this issue!
Other than that, the ability to set a max discharge rate from the grid would be nice, as with an EV and home battery charging, with an AC on nears the 63A limit for most single-phase Australian homes.

Always Chang to discharge priority by itself
It is not acceptable, the APP always force the battery discharge accidentally.

When we first had this app it was working ok showing all my readings, now it’s asking me for a password ! I have no knowledge of using one from the beginning, so l cannot open the app up , and can’t move forward

Be careful when adding a tarif plan as data collected with an incorrect plan cannot be removed which will affect all future data.
Mode scheduler seems arbitrary
Not had this Fox ESS battery for very long. It seems that from other comments on forced charging has vanished and other says it’s moved to mode scheduler. Followed the instructions to the letter and it still won’t work. Ironically the manual mode by selecting back up works and this is dependent on me waking up early and remembering to toggle between self use and back up. Hence the title on mode scheduler as arbitrary, it says it on the screen but not actually doing it in action.

Just keeps getting better
This app has come a long way since I first started using it. The app refresh now updates in seconds, close to a real time view of parameters.The functionality, and graphics are excellent. The addition of the Sankey flow diagram is a great way to quickly understand where the energy in the system is flowing. My foxess battery, inverter and EV charger integrate perfectly. Can’t think of anything I would change. Thanks to the devs for the continuous improvement.

Sehr gute und schnelle Einrichtung
Die Anlage ließ sich schnell und unkompliziert über die App einrichten. Auch die Integration in Home Assistant über Modbus hat auf Anhieb einwandfrei funktioniert. Selbst die Nulleinspeisung arbeitet zuverlässig. Klare Empfehlung – top! 😊

最近的两个版本“调度模式”达到充电截止之后，不会切换回自发自用，会一直使用市电 —— 虽然界面还显示充电到了会切换回自发自用，但最近的版本不知道为什么把原来这个正确的功能改错了
