Worst app ever
Piece of proverbial you know what. Every other app can hdmi to a tv other than this stupid thing. Creator should be imprisoned.

Surprisingly good
Given all the one star reviews I almost didn’t download the app, but I’m glad I did. I haven’t experienced any issues, and I find the channel grouping and selection design of the app borderline excellent to use (I actually prefer it to the set-top box version). I never expected to give Foxtel a 5 star rating, so there you go!

No channel change possible!
Nice to have app to watch on the go. For the high price of sub you'd expect a full feature app.
Critical issue - can't change channels when watching in landscape- surely arrow in either direction would be east.
Second- audio will not remain on when minimised so can't browse other things when listening to news etc.

Horrible
Absolutely horrible company. On mobile you can’t make the player smaller and use other apps at the same time, I was paying $50+ a month, they put pre roll ads which I hated but tolerated. Now they are having ads in the middle of on demand series episodes just at random times. Worst paid show service around.

Still worst streaming app
As always, foxtel’s disdain for their customers knows no bounds. Despite an avalanche of 1-star reviews, the technical issues persist. I literally can’t watch a thing. Playback Error PE8000 is all I get for my subscription fee, and silence from Tech Support.
Keeps freezing during ads… must be on purpose
The amount of times the app freezes on the tag line of a commercial….is pretty much 100% off the time. Do you want people to keep watching your app? Because you’ve made it impossible to watch it. So myself like many other people are turning off in droves
Hopeless
This used to be a great App but now it struggles to show LIVE SPORT for more than 10 seconds at a time. RUBBISH 😵💫😤
Foxtel
Don’t bother with Foxtel and their apps. Even though they charge a fortune, Foxtel are too cheap to hire developers to fix up this mess. Time for Foxtel to stop being so cheap and instead hire developers who know how to build a decent streaming app. Might save you some customers from leaving
Unreliable & Error Riddled
Buggy and constant drop outs viewing live sport. This review comes after using the app for over 5 years and it has consistently failed to provide a reliable and smooth viewing experience
Worst App ever
Today we have tried to watch 4 (yes 4!) different programs and repeated error codes are all we got. Good reception, full wifi, so who knows why? Seems that live tv is the only thing that actually works. 😩
No fast forward option !!!
It’s a shame there’s no fast forward button because there’s so many good shows on offer. Playback is difficult open takin me back to the beginning so it makes it hard watching long sporting events like F1. Currently on the free 10 day trial and trying to watch the main event but it won’t let me order it until I pay my bill and I can’t pay my bill until the 10 day trial is over. Oh well welcome back Kayo.

Keeps giving playback error PE8000 for no reason. Have tried to delete and reinstall app and still doesn’t work. Useless app
Never able to access
Terrible access issues. Access consistently denied. When app allows you in, you’ll find you’re still unable to watch/cast anything. The worst I have signed up for yet!

i am so disappointed in this streaming platform! i’m trying to cancel my subscription and cannot i’ve contacted multiple times and am still waiting for a response! it ridiculous and for the amount of money people are paying to stream, it should be so easy and accessible to cancel at anytime as that’s what it claims to be able to do!

Poorly design
Where the double tap rewind or fast flowed we pay a premium for this and it’s a dated app! Hurry up and update your app already or I’m walking! Sold me the dream but delivered a nightmare!
Can’t AIRPLAY
Whenever there is an ad in the show it drops out from airplay and takes me back to the start. I then have to guess where I’m at on the time bar.
Also it’s mega slow just to watch on the iPad. You get the circle of death at every selection that you don’t get on any other streaming service.
Lastly, for now, if you are going to force ads on people switch them up. I’ve changed companies after getting the same ad 20 times and feeling a hatred towards that ad

Rubbish
Foxtel are just treating their customers with contempt with this app. Reviews going back years complain about lack of PIP and skip forward/back functionality and unreliability.
Region restrictions
How Foxtel restricts their Foxtel Go users from using the app is counterproductive because it allows other apps users have on their phones to spy on them. They should restrict the ISP rather than restrict where the user is accessing the app from, for example if the user is using an Australian ISP such as Telstra or Optus they should be able to access Foxtel Go, but if they’re using BT then they are restricted from accessing Foxtel Go on their phones.
