What's New in FractalEcho

1.0.66

July 14, 2026

FractalEcho is regularly updated with new enhancements. This update adds new fractal variations in addition to user interface improvements for an enhanced fractal exploration. Also included are: Enhanced Performance: The fractal image engine has been updated with dramatically faster performance for exploring deeper within the endless fractal world. Increased Fractal Resolution: Maximum fractal resolution has been boosted to an incredible 1e-1100, allowing you to explore intricate details at the unimaginable edges of fractal complexity. Deeper Iteration Limits: The maximum search depth is now an astonishing 1,000,000,000 iterations enabling deeper dives into fractal structures than ever before. New Gallery Insights: To help identify and understand gallery images, each entry now displays the search depth and resolution values used during creation. This update resolves an issue that prevented launching on certain Intel Macs and introduces new refinements to the user experience. Whether you're a casual explorer or a dedicated fractal enthusiast, this update brings powerful tools to enhance your experience at every level. Enjoy a deeper, faster fractal journey with FractalEcho! For reference, the “What’s New” section is approximately 1,100 characters in length, which corresponds to the number of digits of accuracy in FractalEcho’s calculations.

I need more fractals

I just wish there was burning ship and buffalo and Celtic and tricorn and inverted Mandelbrot and perpendicular burning ship

Response from developer

Build a solid foundation first, next construct the app. Fractal Echo now includes 26 fractals, and counting.

Pretty good, but a work in progress on MacBooks.

Good functionality, but still needs some features. Bi-directional color scrolling is a nice-to-have, but pinch to zoom on track pads (for MacBooks) is needed IMHO. Still this app has as much or more functionality as any other Mac based fractal program that I’ve tried, and I’ve tried a few.

Four (4) stars

Why did you have to make it laggy like my other Mandelbrot game mindful chaos? It’s a great game tho

Realy I get that you only have 1 customer which is probably you but just put 2 ads every 9 minutes trust me it works I have a game that has god knows how many good reviews and is still up and it’s state connect and it’s great I have gotten to Nebraska and other states In that game please respond also if you want you can sponsor your game and it can get people interested because fractals are infinite but your game can’t if you don’t take chances so pleas take my advice and if you do respond please add more fractals thank you

What makes FractalEcho's search depth unique?

FractalEcho enables fractal exploration at up to 1,000,000,000 iterations with a resolution of 1e-1100. This level of detail far exceeds the capabilities of many other fractal exploration apps, allowing for the discovery of previously unseen fractal depths.

Can I customize the fractals I explore in FractalEcho?

Yes, you can explore Mandelbrot and Julia Sets and bring them to life with animated colors, dynamic color palettes, and precise control over search depth, zoom levels, and color rates of change. This allows for endless experimentation to discover new forms.

Does FractalEcho have ads?

No, FractalEcho does not contain advertisements. The app is free to download and use, with optional in-app purchases and subscription plans for enhanced features.

What educational value does FractalEcho offer?

FractalEcho serves as a unique educational tool by calculating both the border length and area of fractals at any given iteration level. This visually demonstrates the core fractal principle of an infinite boundary contained within a finite space.

How often is FractalEcho updated?

The latest version of FractalEcho is 1.0.59, and it was last updated on April 13, 2026. This indicates a recent update, suggesting ongoing development and support for the application.
