Elated OOW Pass!
All Fred’s online apps are amazing! They are relevant, easy to follow and to the point! If you want to pass an exam or even just to broaden your knowledge this is the way to go. Trying to do it yourself is overwhelming and ineffectual! 100 % recommended!
Must have app for training towards your OOW 3000
This app is great! I used it leading up to my OOW 3000 (passed the first time) and still use it all the time now to keep myself fresh with the COLREGS, lights, buoyage, GMDSS, ISM etc.. Highly recommend for any aspiring officer as well as a qualified officer.

Plenty of bugs not much value for money
The content you get is not really worth the money.
It could easily do with an actual copy of the IRPCS for easy reference.
Additionally flags and a flag quiz would also be very helpful.
Some of the quiz’s are pretty bare, overall needs more content for the price.

Too expensive
For what it is it’s too expensive (clearly targets the yacht crew have money).
Lots of bugs & isn’t that up to date. Lots of answers are short without any explanation as another person wrote. It can help with revision but not a great overall app.

This app is expensive for what it is.
The explanation of a wrong answer has me going to outside resources to find out what I got wrong. I would also like to be able to go through the answers when I have finished a quiz and see where I went wrong. Plus the app crashes on a semi regular bases.

This app is amazing.
I used Fred’s long distance prep to pass my OOW first time.
Using this app in the lead up to my exam was essential.
The lights section is better than any other app out there.
The whole app is set out to make you pass the oral, covering many tricky to answer questions.
Get the app early and go through it time and time again and you’ll pass your exam.

Highly recommended
Hands down the most useful revision tool available for those looking to pass their MCA OOW. Would recommend anyone , really handy way to test your knowledge. The way that Fred has put the app together makes it very good at highlighting gaps in your knowledge which is absolutely key when it comes to gaining all the knowledge needed to pass the exam.
It's aimed at those who are a fair way along in studies so if you are fairly fresh to the subject expect to find a lot of areas that you don't quite understand. Use this as a starting point to investigate and further your knowledge...

A great app for those wanting to pass their OOW. The in depth quizzes help ensure that you know the basic fundamentals needed before going to sit your OOW prep. Fred is an excellent distance teacher and his full prep course is fantastic.

This app is awesome.
It does what it says on the box. Without it I would have failed, no question.

The content in this app is immense. In depth and the answers explain where you went wrong to make sure you keep on improving.
It covers the whole syllabus, and teaches you to answer the questions in the way the examiners expect.

This is a comprehensive quiz to test many elements of the OOW exam. I particularly like the in-depth lights and rules sections. This is the best revision app I have seen. I would say it’s an essential tool to passing first time!
Invaluable tool when preparing for your OOW oral examination
Buy it well in advance of your prep week and work through it. You will be happy you did.

Worth every penny
I found this to be only app that incorporates all the necessary information and more to help me prepare for my oral. The quizzes are well thought out and test every topic. It was one of the best aides to my studying and I still use it to keep up my knowledge today. There is no other app that comes close, and I would recommend this to anyone sitting an oral exam.
