The greatest app
This app is the most used out of all the other apps made for contractors. The features it has available are a must have for non-contractors and contractors alike.
Brilliant App
I have been using Free Map Tools on and off for years. The best thing I like about it is it gives you as the crow flies distance and actual distance from A to B.
Not good for rural roads
Only takes into account main roads in uk so quite inaccurate unfortunately. Imagine it works well in urban areas.
Great app!
Really good app for planning VFR navigation flights for pilot students. Only recommendation I would add is, in addition to calculating total distance, to calculate the distance of each leg. Maybe it already does that and I haven’t discovered it…

Great at sending ads
Tried numerous times to get this to work but all it did was pop up ads including an ad that my memory is full and I should download an app. Immediately deleted it after that ad
It’s perfect! Just what I was looking for.
This is great, especially for the price — free! I’ve primarily used it for overlaying radius circles on a map. You can even control color and transparency. Thanks.
almost there
i love how useful this app is…i use it every time i try a new walking route so i can keep track of my distance and gauge my speed. i do wish that the contrast for the printing in the black boxes for the route saving page was sharper, and i haven’t been able to find a list for my saved routes, so the ones that i can’t remember the names for are lost to me - especially since i can’t read the writing if they are there. i hope the elevation tool works, because i just noticed that it was there!

Just downloaded this app for ‘as the crow flies’ distances. It’s easy to use, and results display in a handy way.
A point of feedback on ‘how far can I travel’ calculation: Taking the UK as an example, it is quite inaccurate (underestimating point to point on the major roads network) and needs more work. This should be a straightforward update to the algorithm to assume say 60mph?

Track My Route doesn’t work
Love this app but wish “Track my route” would work.

Sad when google broke the website, over the month at how smooth the app runs plus can make Isodistance charts

Nobody said there would be annoying ads.
I’m more than happy to pay for a good app but animated and full screen ads just make the experience a miserable one. No thanks. Wouldn’t be better to include an in-app purchase?

But it keeps crashing on me. I tried distance between, put in first address it doesn’t show it...I have to locate it myself on map...then it crashes.
I tried how far can I travel, once again had to find myself, crashes.
It’s too frustrating to keep finding things on map to have crash & start over.

Little bit slow but great tool
Just aliittle but slow but it sure does a good job. Great for hiking and kayaking
Population tool?
I use this to determine population around a given radius. Can’t find that function on the app version.
