Top reviews

Rough around the edges but a good mobile companion

Just wish calendar support was a bit better on the backend - would prefer a good two way sync with Gcal / iCal to use a native calendar app.

Calendar events and random freezing

App is almost unusable on iOS. Cannot create an event, just goes to a white screen and freezes each time I try..

How?

It is almost 2022. How in the world can a company with a product as good as Freedcamp manage such a horrible App? You cannot even login consistently. Most used functionality is buried. Why?

App Crashes. Use Mobile Browser Version Instead

Can’t add a task without the app freezing, rendering it unusable. Freedcamp works great in mobile Chrome browser though.

Disappointment 50degree

Honestly the app itself looks good but the way how it works as awfully bad. Showing notifications even if there is nothing to read/no new comments or tasks etc. Iritating!

Unusable

Terrible app. Crashing 99% of the time. I can’t even open it and click on my task list without it crashing. If I get that far, I can’t ever scroll down because it glitches, scrolls back to the top then crashes.

Absolutely ridiculous and frustrating. Why would you not have a usable app? Makes no sense to me. I would never buy a premium version. Look elsewhere people.

Nothing was done since it was developed

According to previous reviews nothing was done in recent years. Going to remove absolutely useless app.

Rubbish

Come on guys sort it out, it’s unusable.

Cant go wrong

I have tried many different platforms and task management software, and I keep coming back to Freed camp...

Limited record options

Trying to use this app to keep track of repairs and projects for a music school. I can’t keep track of my time I do on each task and there are many redundant links and buttons that take you to the same page you are already on. This is not very well organized and I wish to use something else.

Still no progress after a year?

I wish I would’ve seen all these reviews before I started using the desktop version. This app is useless.

I like it

I don’t know why everyone is complaining. It’s a good app does exactly what it needs to do. So many haters. I’ve had no issues.

Reports

Is it possible to generate reports from the app.
Will make life easier as I do most of my work from my phone.

Very Bad iPad support

As an active subscriber to Freedcamp I rely on it to organize projects and tasks. The features on the website are great and I don’t expect to be able to do everything on the iPad, but some very important things need to be fixed.

- Rotation is stuck in portrait mode, and cannot be changed to landscape. As someone using an iPad Pro with keyboard this makes it very hard to use the App

- Attachments don’t seem to upload consistently to projects in my account

- Someone else that gave the App a lower rating regarding comments not being possible unless a task already has comments added

Needs work

This app has so many problems, can’t select dates in tasks etc etc just too many problems to list. PLEASE sort soon. BaseCamp can do it, surely you can FreedCamp!

Love Freedcamp but not this app

Buggy. Freezes every time I load it. Ugh.

Love the software but hate the mobile app

The app has been great to use for project management. However the mobile app is trash. It doesn’t work. I’m not just complaining about functionality or features. It’s so buggy that it can’t even launch. It just crashes. Frustrating.

Lots of improvements needed

Latest version crashes every time I try and start a task.

........

If you’re thinking of using freedcamp don’t let the app reviews put you off. It’s one of the best project management systems.

The app does need a lot of improvements, its not as useful and you can’t really do that much. I always find myself logging into Freedcamp’s website on my phone rather than using the app.

It would be good to have a section on the home screen to quickly add a task, note, or idea for a project.

Bad update

Recent update made app useless. Can’t make updates to tasks without app crashing.

The app is completely broken

I can’t click into any projects.
