App Needs to be Better – Missing Basic Functions
The iPhone app doesn’t have any ability to get on the waitlist, which is the list I’m typically on.
We love the concept of Freedom Boat Club, but the math no longer works for a Seattle summer. There is a clear bottleneck during prime boating hours (2–6PM) where member demand heavily outweighs boat availability.
Restricting availability mostly to morning slots (10AM–2PM) doesn't align with how people actually boat here. At $5,000 a year, paired with recent price increases, getting on the water just once or twice a season isn't a sustainable return on investment. We hope the club will adjust fleet sizes to better serve afternoon demand, but unfortunately, we will be canceling our membership for the upcoming year.

Good app, some enhancements would be nice
For the most part the app works great. Great for making reservations and finding locations on the map respective to your area.
I really wish the app would allow for reviews of the actual boats and to allow you to add to waitlist. It would also be helpful if you could access the address of the club on your reservations.

Tough to get a boat on the weekend- need more boats

I realize it is busy season, but for the money I’m spending in fees I was hoping for more access to boats. I can store a boat for half the monthly fee. Even all the nicknames are taken on this site. How many members do you have?

Easy to use but would be nice to waitlist a boat. App shows that feature was coming in 2025 but still not available. Also wish the ability to reserve at reciprocal locations was available on app too.

Trouble already
I downloaded the app and when I tried to log in it says my password is incorrect. Same password works on the website. So makes no sense.
Hate Website
You have ruined the booking system and I will be dropping my membership after the first of the year.

Laishley dock Freedom Boat Club
We have been members for 10 years and Laishley is our favorite. The boat club itself makes reservations easy, and work to keep their members happy.
Cape Coral is also an excellent Freedom Boat Club dock. They have a multitude of boats to choose from, and you can head out to Cabbage Key from there. It’s a beautiful ride!

How can it be that website works and app doesn’t.

Not user friendly at all. Lacks soooo much functionality
Missing boats
Pretty much unusable. When you search for boats and include everything it will show a number in the search results but when you click details the list of boats doesn’t match the number in the search result. Compare it to the website and lots of boats are missing.
Zero stars and no help
Been waiting weeks for help! Can’t get pass this error: “We are having trouble signing you in. Please try again later.”
Unable to reserve boats outside the lower 49 states.
Was planning vacation to Puerto Rico and decided to reserve a boat since they have 3 Freedom Boat Club in Puerto Rico. Was unable to make any reservation from the app and had to go to the online account to reserve. not very convenient if you can’t reserve a boat from anywhere in the world on the App.

Love the boat club, but this new app is just horrible. The previous version worked so much better and was so much more logical. Why should I have to specify my home Marina every single time I search? Where do I waitlist for a boat now? It’s about twice as much work to make a reservation and it’s just annoying. Like I said everything about the club I love, but this app is really about five steps backwards.
