Easy Peasy Cover
Found the ease at setting up travel insurance for our forthcoming holiday so straight forward. I’ve used Freely previously (and others) and always found it so simple to get cover. No claims as yet, so can’t comment on the claims service.

Freely provides an easy and simple way to purchase travel insurance. Kudos to Freely!
Best travel insurance policy ever!
Insurance is something that you never want to use but in the case you do, you want to know they are on your side. I chose a Freely Policy due to its flexibility. We were skiing and this policy allows you to insure only the days you are skiing, or other activities you are doing. The sign up process is very easy and I liked a lot of the features, like being able to contact a doctor. I have paid ridiculous amounts on doctor call out fees in the past. This is a free service on the app. I also liked the fact that they were reasonably priced and are backed by Zurich. We were in the unfortunate position where we needed emergency medical assistance and I reached out to Freely immediately. I had a case manager that I spoke to who guided me through the whole process, which is a lot harder in a different country, with different systems and processes. They kept me up to date and were extremely responsive. My advice would be if you are in any medical situation, reach out to discuss it with them. I was given approval to fly home and we had to amend our travel plans as we were only at the beginning of the holiday. I had the choice to have Freelys travel agent book or I could book the flights home myself. I chose the later as I just wanted to get home and it would have taken an extra day if I waited for their travel agent. I came home lodged a claim and the whole process was communicated. I received all money back (minus Excess) in a very timely manner and the claims process was also easy. I would highly recommend using Freely

Great app
This is the best travel insurance app, it makes it so easy. I can’t believe it took so long for a company to do this. The only thing that could be better would be the ability to buy an annual multi trip policy like you can on the Cover-More website.

I can comment on the claim process as thankfully have never had to claim but I always take out this insurance. It’s affordable and flexible. The chat has always been prompt and helpful.

Avoid - They have no answers when you need to file.
Not worth the frustration of dealing with Freely if you really need them, or expect them to come through for you. This summer’s Hurricane derailed my families travel and I was given every reason why I was not covered for any of our issues despite having and $800 plus policy. Their first instinct is to tell you to check if you are covered somewhere else like your credit card company before they want to get involved. Even when you ask questions you get very vague answers that don’t help you file your claim. You will realize this when you speak to their customer service team. Although, they seem to have all the answers when you want to sign up. I thought I did my due diligence upon clicking on an $800 policy, but I quickly found out that was not the case. I would 100% look elsewhere for real compromise coverage. Buyer beware.

Fulfilled claim
Freely are legitimate and trustworthy, was worried about this when making a claim, but they honoured the policy and paid us when we had a huge dilemma after a flight cancellation turned into a 5 day drama involving thousands of dollars lost. Would recommend taking photos of everything! Including receipts. This all helped with the claim.

Highly recommend
I have chosen freely for multiple trips and could not be happier. I haven’t needed to make a claim but it’s so easy to set up and pay through the Freely Ap and the rates are reasonable with great reveiws and a great history. For peace of mind choose Freeky for all your insurance needs

Flexible and easy to use
Excellent for those who chop and change plans on a whim. Very simple and straight forward to use and up date your plans.
