What's New in FreePace
1.1.1
March 29, 2026
Audio Ducking Fix Fixed an issue where background music (Apple Music, Spotify, etc.) would remain ducked for the entire run after the first audio cue. The audio session is now deactivated after each spoken cue finishes, so music returns to full volume between announcements. Accurate Split Audio Cues Fixed audio cue announcements reporting stale values for total time and average pace. Split cues now use the exact time and distance from the split snapshot instead of a periodically-updated cache, ensuring the numbers you hear match the split you just completed. Removed Total Distance Cue Field Removed the Total Distance audio cue field, which was redundant — the split number already conveys distance (e.g. "Mile 3" implies 3 miles). This simplifies cue configuration and shortens announcements.
