We love our online newspaper
We winter in Texas and so appreciate getting the Journal Standard. Our only complaint is that we wish it had more Freeport news.

Need more local news and local sports. This is not a Rockford paper! Local sports here is a fabric of our local communities and the coverage of the schools is minimal at best. Freeport and Aquin H S coverage is almost non existent. So sad. Almost no coverage of city, county, and school boards that spend most of out tax money. That is just not good journalism and the publishers don’t seem to care. The customer service on the phone is absolutely awful. They never answer, or call back. I often wonder if there is any pride from ownership, because it is hard to find. Wish it was different, but have been a former employee and customer for over 30 years. Sad for Freeport.
