Poor Experience

Firstly only 50% of sensors work with iPhone 13mini, they work for maybe 36 hrs then shows an error and the sensor shuts down.
I then use another sensor and start it with the Abbott reader!
Abbott need to get ontop of the changing IOS upgrades.
When I have called Abbott, they state that IOS updates are hard to catch up with, so use an Abbott reader.

libre 2 is not available on Apple Watch but Dexcom One+ is.
I am,after 3 years considering self funding to Dexcom One+ until Abbott can iron out small problems.

Good but…

It’s alright, but it needs updating a lot, the freestyle librelinkup app is amazing, my partner’s app (librelinkup) is a million times better than mine and it makes no sense, this app feels outdated clunky and missing features like being able to scroll and see your blood sugar levels in detail etc

Updates

Could the developers please ensure the app is regularly updated alongside iOS updates? Falling behind on updates can affect my ability to receive alerts related to hypos, as my readings may not sync properly. Otherwise, the app functions well when everything is aligned. The app is not documenting any of the hypos I have been having- huge concern as I have had 7 in a week! Do something please 🙏🏽

Incredibly useful

Some reviews are quite negative about losing signal, and it has happened a couple of times, but a quick tap\rescan fixes that. What would be very useful would be a widget for the Home Screen so it’s more accessible.

The app still fails to stay connected to the sensor and the graph is inaccurate.

The app still fails to stay connected to the sensor and sometimes sends a sensor ended early message… but it is still working. This needs to be fixed!

The graph averages readings when for example, low blood sugar alarms, and the recovers, the graph redraws and the readings are lost. How can one tell the highs and lows if it keeps averaging results. Once a read measurement point is on the graph is should not be moved EVER!

Slow to update

Changed my sensor yesterday and the app will not recognise it. Abbott operator says they have not yet updated their software to match latest os software!!

Bluetooth

My husband has installed the app on his iPhone . We have checked compatibility and should be ok . However when he opens the app in settings there is no bluetooth permission button so he is unable to get any alarms .

Bad and dangerous!

A few times now it’s been alarming me with 3.3. I’m checking prick in finger and it’s 11.1!! Then LibreLinkUp showing like 6-8. It’s like it just randomly loses connection and then assume that’s low or something. Idiots never care to build a stable app!

Not great

Ok most the time but just done Apple update and it’s gone weird. Often seem to have to delete and reinstate the app after an update which is really annoying. Alerts not working and yes they are on. Doesn’t show me my current reading without me scanning. Also I’ve had some libres just shut down for no reason except for safety.

Useless

Cannot link up with Librelinkup. Both emails created while in UK but it says ‘You can only share with accounts in your geographic region.’
The graphs are fixed and you cannot change units.
You need to get this app better otherwise the devices are useless

Work needed

Had this device for about 4 years and is extremely frustrating that every few months they update their T&C’s or something and the sensor stop keeping constant track of your Blood Sugars. I then need to delete the app and reinstall it in order to get things back to normal. Needs fixing apart from that it’s a great bit of kit.

Needs URGENT improvement

A priority! This app won’t let you sleep! By setting up the proper sugar levels, only American standard of 3,3! dear developers! I DO NOT EAT American dangerous fast food to have 3,3 being asleep! I need the full range of at least till 1mmol/l to not have an alarm. And advising me eating more sugar at night just makes the problem worse! Might at well just turn it off!!!
1). Once Sensor shown 5 and dropping, then shown a mistake and need to run quality check. I panicked and started eating. In 10mins after quality check finished showed 12.annoying
2). Has no dark themes, so when i wake up at night and want to see glucose level its bright white theme wakes me up
3). Has no option to set up widgets for iphone for quick access, but it is iphone app!!!
4). Doesn’t allow to share notes with linked partner
5). Doesn’t have a mode to see what blood sugar levels are normal for period phase
6) doesn’t allow to share data with my mom, since she lives in the other country
7).sensor glitches and shows gaps in the graph

Needs updating with better features

The sensor is brilliant but the app massively needs updating with better alarm configurations. Too many to go into detail, but it might be worth the developers looking at what the competition is offering.

Generally positive

Two issues: why is the integration with the Apple watch so limited: it can send the glucose reading to the watch when it sounds an alarm - why won’t it do this all the time? Also, quite often refuses to scan and needs a phone restart to solve it - a bit flaky for such an important app!

Does not work with Apple Health app

Does not sync with Apple Health app and my sensor suddenly stopped working after 6 days and the app says to apply a new sensor to check glucose.

Problematic Reading

The app has a bug and the feature to scan new monitors doesn’t launch or work.Glitches in hot weather and app stops working.

A simple and functional app, could be better

My experience of the app has been good and is very easier to get going with clear simple instructions, but what would be nice is if the app could interface with apple health app, as using the health app as a central hub and seeing all information in a single location does have it’s benefits, and means people wouldn’t have to switch between apps to get a understanding of vitals. Also having a dark mode would also be nice

App needs improved, the libre link is better in terms of UI

Several times now I have lost data on the app after it stops giving continuous readings and I have to uninstall the app, restart phone and reinstall.
Just to add to how rubbish this app truly is, upon uninstalling the app you lose ALL your flash scans AND all record of your insulin that I had painstakingly marked as flow checks etc and when you scan your insulin pens you’ll have all those readings to redo. This is by the most inept and not fit for purpose app I have ever had the misfortune to waste my time with however I am stuck with this nonsense because this is all NHS provide. If I could give it zero stars I would!!!
You can get the full readings online but defeats one of the purposes of the app.
Need to improve on this and make it more like Libre Link for the UI as well, not having the ability to drag and see readings at different times means I have both installed.

Always Scanning Errors

If I can’t scan the Libre/sensor, what should I do?

My Libre sensor only lasted twelve days. For the first three days I was dealing with scan errors, and now it has stopped working completely. This issue keeps happening to me again and again.!!!

Loose connection

My sensor looses connection with my iPhone after each reading and then have to reconnect
I have tried following the instructions of turning off my phone and Bluetooth but still no joy
