Use at your own RISK!!! Dogecoin MISSING from wallet
After 6 years of holding Dogecoin in Freewallet without any issues, two uninitiated withdrawals were made from my wallet one week apart, one at the end of January and another in the first week of February 2024. The only comment was “Inactivity Fee” for both. The total amount removed was 770 Doge (approximately 130 USD). How is it that after years of holding, suddenly a wallet claiming to be FREE (Freewallet, that is your name, yes?) starts taxing me? I never had a negative experience until now, but I will be moving all my assets out ASAP. I alone hold my private keys, so only the DEVS of Freewallet could be capable of taking my cryptocurrency. SHAMEFUL and TREACHEROUS THIEVES!
Update: The Freewallet FAQ webpage states: “Sending and receiving crypto assets between the Freewallet members, as well as holding them in the wallets is 100% free.” After writing the first review, I attempted to send my assets to another wallet, and wouldn’t you know, all of a sudden the transactions failed and my account is suspended! Now my assets are frozen and I will have to open a ticket and hope for the support team to be helpful. Also want to add that I was not able to post on the r/FreeWallet subreddit where I wanted to ask if other users have experienced similar issues.

Worthless
The app is alright but the company is ineffectual at best - and their customer service non-existent. After using the app for years, my account was abruptly suspended with no meaningful reason given, other than a generic “violation of ToS” notice that failed to demonstrate which part of the ToS had been violated. Months and months have gone by, repeatedly sending unanswered support tickets with the goal of trying to understand what I’d done wrong and what I could do to correct my mistake. This means that my funds are in limbo, since the “violation of ToS” has put a hold on my account. I am cheekily reminded by the app that I can submit a report ticket if I need help whenever my withdrawal attempts are rejected. At least the app doesn’t crash. I wish the UI was a little nicer as well.

Criminals! I’m going to file charges
You have my money or my crypto and I want it back! I’m trying to see if I can file charges at this point! You made me do two weeks of useless stuff only to hear after I get it all done that my 1 yr old apple iPhone was the issue and I needed to get a new one! I’m not allowed to screen record my acct from uphold which is what your after so therefor I cannot get my money back! Apple and uphold should know about this and know what your forcing us to do if we want our money back! You are not going to get away with treating people this way! Over 50 emails dozens of videos, countless screen shots… all of my acct and for one simple transaction from uphold to free wallet that had my wallet address correct to me with my name on all of it! Anyone who uses this wallet is crazy!!

Using and storing coins just got easier
I downloaded a wallet to facilitate the use of coins, I transferred everything from my other wallets here. It is convenient and all the functionality is in front of your eyes. This company has to be worst.
I wrote a bad review about Freewallet and it’s nowhere to be found in the list of reviews. I know I sent it because I did get a reply back. I’m fed up with Freewallet. Before you download this app or make an online account, do yourself a lifesaving favor and research them. Don’t go by the App Store reviews because mines not on there. Doubt if this one will be too. I’m gonna make push to take this app off of the app store then Google play. They stole quite a bit of money from me. I wish I would’ve done some research first other than the app store. There’s nothing good said about Freewallet!

The main difference
The main difference between Freewallet and other similar wallets, I would say, is the emphasis on the security and comfort of the user. Probably that's why I so quickly joined the crypto-currency environment. because it was extremely easy to start using the app, and the fact that for a long time I have no complaints about security also says a lot about Freewallet

It's been a long way
Over 4+ years of use, everything happened, but in the end I was satisfied with my user experience. I don't deal with cryptocurrencies anymore, but at least Freewallet made it a lot easier for me to do what I was doing, and it was able to keep my coins intact without my knowledge, for which I thank you very much!

Ultimately I got my money but
Ok so here my story I had used this wallet way back in 2017 or so to store my crypto never had an issue when the big boom happened and the market was at its peak the app locked me out and no matter how many times I tried submitting a ticket they would send me back an email saying that they couldn’t help me that they were experiencing an overload of support request and canceled my request for help that was about 2021 early and I had almost given up try on and off for 2 years now almost until finally I got a response they were ok at getting be back on this was around this time in 2022 now my crypto value had gone from 40k down to 3000 missing my opportunity for a great sell off but the nightmare didn’t stop their from watching it go down from 3000 to half because it took 2 weeks because of inconsistent and 12-3am responses my time to un suspended my account and finally I was able to move off the platform to sell my crypto but my experience definitely was not good for a wallet was happy I didn’t loose it all but wish I could have sold during the high market value

It gave me what I need
I was just looking for a comfortable wallet to use, in which I could leave my money for the period I needed, and I found it. Freewallet has a good interface, runs smoothly and is good in terms of security. The fact that they put the coins in cold storage already says a lot, and if you add to that the transaction speed that this wallet offers, this is exactly the wallet that I needed

There is never too much security
The app contains many features for safe work with cryptocurrencies. The tabs here are arranged in such a way as to make working with them as easy as possible. In addition, all data is stored in encrypted form, and the fingerprint scanner and 2FA help this. I haven't seen any other mobile wallets where security is as much of an issue.

App gives a great possibility to jump into crypto while the prices are at bottom and try buying some cheap coins and even try out trading them just within the app. Or you can move them to an exchange, as I do most of the time. As for security, they force you to use 2FA. Looks annoying at the start, but then you realize that it's better to keep your money safe.

Do not use
Worst customer service there is. I had a friend loan me some money but all he had was crypto so he sent it litecoin well if you don’t constantly check the app to see which wallets there doing upgrades to or servicing then you can receive the crypto but nothing which is utterly ridiculous if they’re working on any wallet then they shouldn’t let anything go through to that wallet and you should be notified of this. Contacted support with just a question of best guess estimate as to when they’d be finished and they said they have no answer they just said that the notification for wallet will removed when completed. There’s still a notification for one wallet that’s been servicing and upgrading since October of 2018 this is place is a joke use BitPay or trust wallet as soon as I can get my crypto out of this joke of an app I’m definitely deleting it

Reliable tool
I won't say that this wallet has always worked flawlessly when I've used it, but it still performed much better when I used it for a few months. Other services were so bad that I didn't want to keep using them, which is not the case with Freewallet. This app has become my assistant and reliable tool for crypto.

Awesome UI
The user interface looks amazing, and this is despite the fact that it contains all these features that the wallet is packed with. The syncing of the app with my account went well and all the information is displayed on the screen pretty quickly. There may've been a couple of really long delays with the update but I'm willing to chalk it up to an error.

Useful and functional
A very useful wallet, because in one small app it combines a lot of good features that open up for me and any crypto fan. The fact that you can store many types of coins in one application is already good, but it looks even better when the app has security methods, such as 2FA. You should not forget about the exchange either, since this is a great addition for a multiwallet.
