Note selector buggy

The mechanic to set the tuning of the notes in the note selector doesnt do anything. App can only generate notes for A=432. Which is 8 hz flat of standard tuning. If you use this app you will be flat compared to any other instrument you play with.

FAQ

What can this app do?

This app generates various sound waves, including sine, square, sawtooth, and triangle, with frequencies ranging from 1Hz to 22000Hz. It allows for visual representation of these sound waves through animation and provides control over volume. It can be used for purposes like testing hearing, speakers, headphones, and as an instrument tuner.

What types of sound waves can I generate?

You can generate four types of sound waves: sine, square, sawtooth, and triangle. These can be easily selected from the main menu by tapping on the sound wave icon. Each waveform produces a different sound and animated visual representation.

How do I adjust the frequency and volume?

The frequency can be adjusted by dragging a yellow dot on the screen, with precision buttons available for fine-tuning. The volume of the generated sound can be controlled from 0% to 100% through a dedicated control.

What are some common uses for this app?

Common uses include testing your hearing capabilities within the human hearing range, sound testing speakers and headphones for both high and low frequencies, tuning musical instruments, and even using the vibrations to help clean water from speakers.

Is this app free to use?

The app is free to download and use, but it does contain advertisements. It also offers in-app purchases, which may provide additional features or an ad-free experience.
