About
FrequenSee was developed by someone personally affected by tinnitus. The original idea was to create a tone that comes as close as possible to the perceived tinnitus sound. Step by step, this evolved into an app that helps users systematically narrow down and document their individual tinnitus frequency.
FrequenSee supports people with tinnitus in subjectively identifying the frequency of their tinnitus and creating a personal hearing profile.
The app provides a guided frequency search with different tone modes and allows users to save and review their results.
Based on the identified hearing profile, users can run personalized notch sessions. During these sessions, the selected tinnitus frequency is specifically filtered out of ambient soundscapes. This approach is inspired by the concept of notch therapy.
Features:
• Subjective tinnitus frequency search
• Personal hearing profiles
• History and review of multiple searches
• Notch sessions based on the hearing profile
• Ambient soundscapes such as rain, forest, and ocean
• Local data storage on the device
• Simple and intuitive operation
Important notice:
FrequenSee does not replace medical diagnosis, advice, or treatment and makes no claims of a cure. The app is intended solely for subjective audio and frequency perception.
