It’s the little things…
I’m a huge fan of Fresh Baguette and am a member of their brew club so I’m in the store most days. I use the club app usually (and it has the same sorts of rough edges I’m describing here), but today I needed to order some extra items so I downloaded the normal app. First, it did not recognize my login credentials from the brew club app. So, I had to register for the normal app separately. However, on my new iPhone 15 ProMax, it was impossible to register because the screen keyboard covered up the button I needed to press after filling out the form. So, I pulled out my iPad, downloaded the phone app there (no iPad specific app) and was able to complete the registration. Next, after I entered my order and went to the payment screen, I had to add a credit card. I use 1Password to store such information, and normally, the apps I use sense that I’m looking for credit card information and automatically pull up the options in 1Password for me to enter. Not here. I had to separately open the 1Password app and paste in my credit card information one field at a time. Now, none of these things are deal breakers, but Fresh Baguette caters to an upscale clientele and having an app without this polish is inconsistent with their image. I rated this a two stars so hopefully someone takes the time to read this and takes action. This is just construction feedback.

Fresh baguette is the place to go when you want to eat real French bread and pastry .
The staff is always nice and helpful . It is always a great experience to go to the shop and it is very convenient to be able to have bread and croissants delivered at home !

Food is great, but very hard to get refund if there is a mistake with your order
Love the food, the app is easy to use, but it is almost impossible to get a refund if your order is screwed up (wrong item delivered, item missing from delivery, etc.)
Can’t purchase the Apple pastry
I love Fresh Baguette. I also love their apple pastry. On this app, I can add everything to my cart EXCEPT this pastry. I’ve showed the store several times and they have no idea what is going on. I can add anything else to my cart… only the apple pastry is affected. It doesn’t make sense. Until it is fixed, I t’s a one star from me.

Let me preface this by saying I love Fresh Baguette. I used to drive from Gaithersburg to Bethesda to get the pastries prior to opening the Rockville location. App was easy to use but when I got to the store, no order and no pastries. Correct date, correct time, correct location, credit card billed but no order. Unfortunately, the young lady behind the counter took the “sure you did, let me see the order” attitude which I immediately found annoying but her young male counterpart quickly apologized and got everything together. Again, this is no reflection on the quality of pastries - there are a bunch of French pastry shops popping up and FB is still the best. I did think the app was slick and easy to use but the one job an order/pickup app is supposed to do is have the food waiting for you and this didn’t happen.

Awesome App for Awesome Eatery!
I absolutely love Fresh Baguette! Eating their yummy pastries feels like you’ve been transported to a patisserie in France. Now that they have their own app I feel even better when ordering from them! Happy that they don’t have to pay 30% in fees to these delivery companies. Support local, your tastebuds will thank you!
