Love \ glitch

When setting intermediate parameters for learning a segment of the Fred board, I get a message that a note could not be found yet the settings were allowed

Incorrect interval charting

I haven’t verified the other game options it has but if you’re like me and want to be able to identify intervals on guitar, know that this app does not recognize 4ths as being on the same fret a string over but rather one lower. If it didn’t have issues like this it would be a great tool.

Teveel bugs

Kan de automatische modus bij ‘vind de noot ‘ niet gebruiken.

Amazing app!!

I love this app. It incorporates so many apps in one 👍 Also very well designed and extremely easy to use.

Buggy

UI is buggy, can tell it’s not built as a native IOS app as the app corners cut in on the slight radius of iPhone corners.

App loses track of its orientation if orientation lock is on (found while trailing the song writing feature)

When trialing the tap to find chord in the app the menu box covers half the screen. Not worth attempting to subscribe.

Finally a good app for the mandolin

I started learning the mandolin and hit a plateau in music theory. Videos and unguided research helped with technique and really basic theory, but I felt so scattered not knowing what to focus my practice on. I also prefer playing Blues, so I tune down a whole step which made learning scales more difficult. Not only does the app give organization to my study, but I really appreciate it having a feature for custom tuning.

Sound

I wish it allowed me to turn the sounds off, when I turn the toggle to “sound after answer” off it still makes the noise

Useful app by user interface is clunky

I use this app for mandolin, and find it a great learning tool, worth the subscription price. However, I find the user interface very convoluted. It seems like the are multiple paths to the same screen and sometimes when you select a game you have to go to home to start it. I have had many cases where I could not get the app the proceed to the next note and I have to restart things. Using the mic is a new feature that I like but setting it up requires you to search around for that feature. I don’t want to discourage anyone from using it because it will improve your understanding of the fretboard, just be prepared for a bit of a learning curve to use it

Very bad UI

I couldn’t understand how the app was supposed to work. Very bad user experience

Avaliação

Aplicativo não funcionou. Mensagem de erro na primeira tentativa de abrir o app.

Policies?

Privacy policy? Terms and Conditions? For a guitar app? I get it - EVERYONE is doing it so why can’t we. Well….deleted. Sick of it.

Note H instead of B

as soon as i purchased , all the B notes showing as H and Sharps nd flats showing as ins. don’t know why

Addicted

I purchased the one month option as a proof of concept purchase. I have 133+ hrs of use in 19-20 days after purchase. I have found some small issues some addressed and other not yet resolves. The question remains, would I purchase the one year subscription?

Wow. Best Guitar Purchase in A Long Time

I have many apps, only a few that I use regularly. I picked this up before going on a trip as I couldn’t bring my guitar so I wanted to focus on music theory and fretboard knowledge. I wish I found this app long ago. It has many presets and options readily available, but the customization options are impressive. This is a rare app that feels worth a subscription given the depth it provides. This could easily be an app that offers fresh value for a month if not years. In the past week of usage, I have clearly seen a benefit to my fret board knowledge.
Highly recommended for those who are ready to move into musicianship level knowledge - just perusing and playing with the tools here are quite inspiring and helped to point out the steps to take to get better, rather than just looking at the big gap of knowledge and not knowing where to start. Huge bonus points for the gamification of it, it’s definitely appeals to the Completionists and gamers like myself.

Awesome App.

Using this a lot more

I’ve been struggling to learn my 5 string bass fretboard. There are so many different ways to use this app now, and it’s really helping me.

It just works

This app is extremely well formatted and works excellently. I really can’t think of a way it could be improved. It’s exactly what I’ve been looking for to help improve my fretboard knowledge

Very good but maybe chord games?

Great to learn, another nice addition would be a game to identify different chords by seeing the chord structure/position on the fretboard. You could include major/minor and maj7 and so on

Response from developer

Hello Luis, There are chord games that include major, minor, major 7th, and any chord imaginable. You can find them under the "Chords" section when you select your game. Cheers!

Phenomenal, just buy the full version

So helpful already. Fretboard memorization, interval and ear training, tabs for keeping note of your songs, chord notation, so many scales, arpeggio training, you name it.

My only complaint so far is how the interval training audio is scuffed, you gotta smoothen that out.

Response from developer

Thank you for your feedback and support Motown! If you have time, please email me at contact@strongapplications.com and I can try to address any concerns you may have with the app.
