Helpful and flexible
This application offers finger shapes for chords on a variety of instruments including guitar, ukulele and mandolin. Multiple options appear for forming chord shapes up and down the fretboard (for the type of instrument you select).
In addition, a particularly handy feature is the reverse look-up. On an image of your instrument's fretboard, you can indicate finger positions, and let the app identify one or more names for the chord shape you've indicated.

Powerhouse
Love it. Use it constantly. Simple, clean UI. Super configurable with multiple instruments, alternate tunings, reverse chord lookup, I love this thing. Itβs not been updated in years but I still use it daily. Only wish it contained sections for each musical key that included diatonic sets, commonly used out of key chords, and scales/modes.

Fantastic App
I tried the free version, then bought the paid one less than a minute later. I wanted something for noting down chords when I was coming up with guitar parts, and the Reverse Finder feature is amazing for this even in alternate tunings.
Thank you to the developer. Great App.

Wow!
Just got this app and I love it already. All kinds of options, chords for different instruments, different positions for chords, and you can even put your own positions in manually and see what that chord is.
NOT ABLE TO VIEW IN LANDSCAPE ON IPAD
The app features are great, mind you, but oh so annoying to read in portrait when my accessories are in landscape. How difficult would that be?
