I installed this and it put some dodgy extension in my safari browser, then my web server was hacked into because someone was obviously watching me enter credentials. Not safe at all!

Crashes and glitchy
Update July 2026 - Still can’t post/reply on FaceBook and must close-restart app when switching to BlueSky, as the feed doesn’t load.
The overlay for blocking/muting feeds on FB doesn’t work.
Update - had to delete and reinstall the app to get it working after the latest update. Now working again. Still can’t download documents from FartBook.

Used to be essential and still provides FartBook without ads.
The latest update has been a real downer. It now force closes before the app loads.
On FB, the comments do not work and it is not possible to download files. No big thing, though, given it is META.

Don’t install if…
Do not install this if you have noticed that Facebook intentionally breaks elements on the website when you browse in Safari with AdGuard or other app blockers turned on because this will not be your solution. It will behave the same. Videos won’t play nothing will be clickable. I installed this because I thought I can get rid of the ads in the native Facebook app. I was wrong.

Used To Be Very Useful
Loved this app before. Performance issues for me after a few minutes of using it. Causes iPhone 14 to freeze up like it’s causing resource issues. Also not able to make comments on posts within Facebook. Also not able to view Marketplace. I’m guessing it could be FB making changes to prevent other browsers from being able to access their environment completely. So if I want to comment on posts, I have to use a regular browser on my laptop.

App can’t log into Twitter for the last week, simply replies to “use the official X app”, barf. No word on an update coming, app may be abandonware.
