textplus and nextplus used to be really good but now any time they reassign my number and i need a new one it doesn’t let me choose a free number and im forced to use a premium one.

Could they make the app any worse? New login requirements void your privacy. App has become hideous. Lost all my credits, used to dollars. Old 'grandfathered' accounts before 2020 are effectively being terminated with false message account hasn't been used and your number is reassigned. Then when u try to obtain replacement number there's a continuous message that says oops, something is wrong. Try again. Also no provision to reset legacy passwords. Support is militant and unhelpful. All they do is deflect and gaslight. Call quality has always been mediocre. don't let the bots or paid reviewers say differently. Read the negative reviews to get a clear picture. Unless you're premium user you won't be able to get a phone number anywhere, ever. Waiting to hear back from the FCC and Apple.

I’ve paid for unlimited calling but I can’t call 20 numbers
Charged me $40 when i cancelled my subscription
I cant even download apps till i pay off this $40 this app charged me, Mind you did not authorize it at all, A college student aswell so now i cant even download the apps i need to enter my campus till i pay this off but if i pay them $40 ill be short on other payments , Genuinely just evil bro
